Your technician, Eric, did a great job on installing a new door opener after our old one failed. He arrived on time and worked efficiently. He pointed out a minor (and possibly a future major problem) with our old door. Since we had already planned to replace the door with a new insulated one this spring he told us about the fact that the door we need was now on sale at a substantial saving. We decided to replace it as soon as possible. Thanks, Precision, for your excellent service. There is never a good time for a garage door problem, especially during the winter.

The door is fine; but, in talking with several other contractors I am told a door installation should include outside trim and weather strip. Precision did not install and insists on an additional charge to come make it right. Will not recommend to anyone.
Hi Sandra, Thank you for the review. I have chosen to use what I believe is a superior seal. It is solid vinyl, and the rubber seal is molded into it. This seal holds up and works better than other seals in the industry. Like all products there are many options to choose from, some very inexpensive, and some that are not. In my experience the "free seal" some companies include with install is an usually an inferior product with no warranty. My choice doesn't always go over well, but most customers are happy with the product we offer. I will however offer you 50% off the cost in hopes that it will satisfy your complaint. Our technician we had was very good. He jumped right in and figured out what the problem was and fixed it right up. I hardly knew he was evenhere and he was quick. He was in and out in a half hour and now our door shuts a lot more quieter then it has ever.

We originally called because our door was giving us problems, but after talking with the service man who answered all our questions we decided to order a new door. He was very patient with us as we made our decisions on different options. One installer came, which surprised me because I thought it would take two, and he also was very polite and knowledgeable. He took down the old door and put it on his truck and installed the new door within two hours. We ordered the upgraded hardware with lifetime warranty on parts and labor. It is perfect, quiet and very attractive. We are very pleased with the service people and the product.
