Austin is married and has two daughters, one crazy toddler and a third grader who loves dance. Austin grew up in Avon and has three younger sisters. He played baseball through junior college as a pitcher and graduated from Ball State University with an Exercise Science degree in 2008. Outside of work and family Austin volunteers at his church as an elementary youth pastor. Random claims to fame: - Was a professional bodybuilder in the WNBF - Acted in six independent horror films - Once ate a 64oz steak at Shula’s, the gigantic elk burger at Bub’s, and always cleans everyone’s plates at restaurants.

Based on a recommendation from our next door neighbor we selected Precision Overhead Door. We can’t say enough about the promptness of response. With a few clicks of the mouse we had booked an appointment time that was perfect for us. A confirmation was immediately sent to us and a reminder the day prior to a visit. An hour before the appointment time we received a text with a complete bio of the service representative, Austin. Austin looked over our door situation and asked us several questions. Austin then proceeded to create a detailed proposal, sat down with us and explained every item and option. Two days from now we are scheduled for a door replacement including, at our request, replacement of the door opener. We found the price to be very fair and Austin did his very best to give us every available discount. We are looking forward to the installation and would highly recommend Precision Overhead Door.

Austin and Issac did a fabulous job. I reached out to Precision as they had installed our garage door opener to purchase an additional remote door opener. They recommended a tune up based on how long ago we purchased the opener. They arrived within an hour of my request. They completed the tune up and programmed the new remote for us within 30 minutes. It was a great experience and I will continue to use Precision in the future. The best part was Austin and Issac. They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you!

From the moment I called at 7 p.m. due to a broken garage door spring, the service was exceptional. A friendly customer service representative promptly scheduled me for the next day. The updates via text and call when Austin was en route were appreciated. Austin's personable, respectful, and polite demeanor stood out during his inspection, where he identified additional components needing replacement due to severe wear and tear. I have had Precision Door come to my house before. So I was familiar with the company. I was not disappointed on this call. Austin was on time and professional. He made the necessary inspections and determined what I kinda already knew that I needed a new door. We went through the options and I did not feel pressured one way or another. Austin was a great example of an outstanding employee. He protected my property and was professional through the entire process. Precision offered to be out the same day, but schedule did not work until the next day. The tech, Austin arrived on time, explained what needed to be done in a very easy to understand manner with pictures where I could not see, offered multiple options with no pressure. Once we decided on a course of action, all was installed, inspected and explanations given about warranty. He even reset my car opener button to handle the new opener. Very professional, efficient and friendly. Definitely would use them again.

Joel was excellant with all diagnosis and treatment for the problem. He explained all avenues of repair and costs associated with each. He finished in a timely manner and left with a completed task. I made the appointment on line Sunday night when the problem occured and Joel was here the next day monday April 8. All went well and if another problem occurs I will surely call again.

Austin arrived exactly on time, following a request for service we had submitted. There was one small concern about the overhead light, but everything otherwise was working perfectly, and he came to perform routine maintenance. He is the most professional and polite gentleman, absolutely charming and instilled enormous confidence in himself, the company and the work he was doing. Extremely patient, very helpful indeed. I believe the company is fortunate to have him as an employee. Just to say, none of your options regarding service performed properly describes the work. “Routine maintenance “ would be accurate.

Austin came out to diagnose the garage door issues I was having (loud clanky noises, not opening all the way up). He did a great job of figuring out the issues, providing different options to fix/replace motor/parts and installing everything timely. He also helped me reprogram the garage door opener on my car. I would recommend using Precision Garage Door.

I worked with Austin for installation of a Belt Drive Garage Door Opener (2022) and repair (2024). Installation: I was replacing a chain drive garage door opener on two garage doors. Austin clearly explained the differences between chain and belt drivers openers, which made the decision easy to convert from chain drive to belt drive. The install had some challenges as a result of poor decisions in the original install, but Austin fixed everything and verified everything worked. Repair: Austin made adjustments to garage tracks/frames for smoother open/close and explained proper maintenance steps. Austin is great to work with!

I looked at the ratings and it was all 5 stars. I am recently widowed and trying to figure out how to take care of our home of 23 yrs. It seems this the year everything seems to start breaking. I called Precision and they had someone that was able to come out and help me within a 2 hour window, which was such a blessing to me. Austin showed up and was so kind and helpful. I trusted him and knew he wouldn’t try to over charge me just because I was a woman living alone. He fixed my door and the charge was acceptable. Joel was great! I saw the Precision truck in our neighborhood. He was at a neighbor's house across the street . (Precision had put in a new garage door motor in my garage over a year ago and they did an excellent job.) Joel made several adjustments to the garage door. He also replaced the garage door seal on the bottom of the garage door. Great job!
