I started out a little disappointed because I was told it would be 4 weeks by the first representative. Then it was 4-6 weeks—and given an installation date 6 weeks later. I did get the job done 4 days earlier than the six weeks. However, I am very impressed by the person who installed the new door. He was professional while friendly and able to do the work himself. I would recommend him to anyone needing a new garage door!

Kevin, the Precision technician, quickly solved the issue I was having with my garage door. What I appreciate about Precision is their organized system—from the first phone call to the updates on timing and the technician’s arrival. They come fully prepared with all the right tools and parts, neatly stored in a spotless, professionally marked van. You can tell its Precision the moment they pull into the driveway. Precision makes recommendations as to what is needed to do the job but is clear to let you make the decision. The added value was tightening hinges, chain and oil where needed. Kevin also reminded me of a feature on the keypad that I had forgotten that is useful. We also reviewed records of when the garage door springs & motor was replaced to help with knowing what I can expect since the repair of garage door springs. The website is user friendly and talks about the employee and have videos to review.

We have used Precision Garage Door service for years, upgrading from the original garage doors and simple opener to the "green fittings" that last longer than the basic ones. Now we have a garage door opener that we can open and shut from anywhere in the country, and if the power is down (again) the battery backup can open and shut it many times. This time the key pad died and Precision had to replace it. Garage Doors are one of the devices that one simply expects to work when a button is pushed. When they don't work, Precision will figure out why and get it working! Their response time is very rapid as well.

One of the 2 large garage door springs "broke." I had used Precision before and called right away. As promised, my new best friend Teddy showed up 45 minutes later. This experience was like a "commercial." Within the next 45 Minutes Teddy reviewed my options, found a broken hinge, replaced the broken spring as well as the suspect other spring, replaced both somewhat rusty cables and lubricated all the hinges. Precision installed new doors on previous before I sold it. Since I was pleased with that project, I called Precision to evaluate problems with the garage door in my new production built home. The technicians arrived about 3hrs after I called. The door itself, motor, and tracks were okay, but the low quality plastic moving parts in the tracks were binding. Everything including the lasers was replaced with high quality parts guaranteed for 7 years. The technicians also set up the remote system is my wife and I can open and close the door with our cell phones. We were very pleased with the rapid, high quality service.
