I called this morning for the replacement or service on our garage door operator. It had stopped working right after the storm created a power surge. Precision said that they could get to us today. Their service technician arrived and immediately checked out the operator and inspected the overhead door. The technician was excellent. He was professional and knowledgeable. We were experiencing difficulty with our 18 year old garage door opener. I found a decal that Precision had placed on the inside of our garage door back in 2013 and applied for a service request with Precision's website. It was fairly easy to request service, and appreciated their listing of available appointment times by the day. I picked one that was the next day. After the inspection of the door that took 15 minutes, the tech explained what was necessary. Lot's of options and pricing to choose from. We decided to proceed with the install and it was done in about 3-1/2 hours. Cleanup and haul away of the older unit components. In addition, the tech programmed our vehicle to open the garage door from the inside of our car. Nice experience.

Chase was a very good technician and very knowledgeable in all things garage. I like that he had a technical background in welding. He and I got along very well. He presented to me all options that were available to me. He even provided me some extra hardware for the doors. Highly recommend. I will note things probably out of control of the company, prices are higher than I was expecting. I have used precision garage door in the past. That’s why I chose them. I know that I was going to get excellent service maybe work on adjusting that price a little bit thanks.

The repairs were done quickly and had all the parts on their truck for the repairs. The only suggestion I have is to improve the quality of original hardware kit that was used to install the original door. The door is only two years old.

I called Precision because I saw a commercial and happened to need help fixing my garage door. It would open but not close without overriding the system.
