Where do I start? Well first setting up an appt was not only easy but very pleasant. Once appt was made I was contacted by the technician and kept informed thru the whole process of the repair. I knew there was a lot more wrong with the garage door over and above the broken spring and was not sold anything more than what was needed to bring the door back into working order. Will use them again.

After speaking with the service manager, we had a very nice conversation he asked me what I thought was fair. We both agreed on splitting the service call. Timely and professional. Called because I felt something wasn't right with the belt, turns out my suspicion was correct the technician made an adjustment which was covered under warranty sold me an additional opener I needed and was on his way "post haste". Outstanding.

Our neighbor's house took a lightning hit which knocked out our two garage door openers. When I placed the service call I told the service rep the manufacturer and the model of the unit and they ensured me the parts would be on the truck. The importance of this is that we are closing on the sale of this home on Monday so I wanted everything to be fixed on Friday. The part needed was not on the truck so the repair was not done on Friday and the chances of it being completed before close on Monday is questionable plus we are moving out of state two days after the close. Was disappointed that the repair was not completed and we had to go the weekend with manually opening and closing the garage doors as we prepare to move. Lastly, was not told about the fuel surcharge fee when I asked about the service call fee. Service Tech was very professional and informative and the rating does not represent anything negative about his interaction with us. I am sending this review with the repair not yet being completed.
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, and whomever you spoke with giving you misleading information. We do keep our trucks as stocked as we can, but certainly will never have every part for every brand available. Thank you for choosing Precision Door Service.
