I went online and looked for Garage door repair in Hancock County. Your add was impressive and it was late in he evening around 11:00 PM but was still able to make an appointment for the next morning. Your representative "JOSH" was business like and professional explaining in great detail what he found in his inspection of the garage door. He finish his repair replacing all the lift hardware in terrific time and was courtous during the whole process.

I called two other people at 8:00 am and got no answer after waiting for and hour,called Precision they said they would be out today,that works for me "they answer their phone". Very nice people to work with. The installer called and said he'll be out earlier than what they said. Excellent installer,Very good People to work with 5 star all the way ... Oh,The other people called around 6:00 pm ,their person was sick today. Thanks, A Lot Precision!

Nice people. I didn't like that the tech told me it would be 1 to 1.5 weeks before it could be installed and then when the admin called to set the appt. they told me it would be 3 weeks. They accommodated me there and had the install done within 5 days (which I appreciated). I didn't like that I felt the sales guy was trying to upsell me at install instead of presenting me with the upgrade information at the time of the initial meeting when the quote was given. I have also found several screws lying around my garage floor - I'm just hoping that I have found all of them before a tire gets punctured.
Hi Kelley, Thank you for taking the time to do the review, we really need this kind of information to make improvements. We don't stress the upgrades to our guys on the initial estimate, if they think the customer wants it great, bring it up. They're allowed to at anytime, just not pushed to. I do this because many customers get multiple estimates, and other companies just don't offer upgrades. We've found that it sometimes hinders our sales. I do however require them to bring it up at time of Install, not as a sneaky sales tactic, but just to make sure it was offered at some point because it is the better option and best value. I have spoken with Josh, and he is really sorry he overlooked part of the clean up, and says he won't let it happen again. We really appreciated the quick response on a Saturday when we needed emergency garage door repair. However, we understand that a service call fee is necessary, because a trip to a house does not guarantee a job, but typically that fee is deducted from the bill if the company completes the job. Also, the $15.00 fuel fee should be included in the service call fee, not in addition too. This would make us think twice before calling your company again.
Thank you for the feedback. Some companies may waive their fee when doing work, however their cost for coming to your home does not go away, they have simply divided the cost into the repairs/parts you would have purchased. We typically charge an $80 total trip fee plus parts/repair, that includes the $65.00 Service Fee, and our $15 fuel charge. The fuel charge is something we can quickly adjust when gas prices drastically increase, while our service call fee has been the same for over 5 years. When we do phone quotes we tell customers the Total Trip fee is $80, I have reviewed your phone call and found our National Call Center that handles phone calls over night and on weekends, misquoted you and only mentioned the $65 fee, so I will have a check sent out today to refund your $15 fuel charge.
