The spring broke on our garage door Saturday night. After unsuccessfully contacting the previous repair company I used, I decided to try someone new. I found Precision in the Home Pages, and I called for service late Sunday afternoon. The operator was informative and was able to provide accurate pricing for a broken spring repair. By being able to talk with someone on Sunday I was able to get service first thing Monday morning, which I was totally fine with. The technician, Andrew, arrived ontime and was quickly able to diagnose and inform me of the issue and some other minor items that may need corrected in the future. Based on his recommendation our single spring was replaced by 2 springs for better lift capability. Andrew was well spoken and very respectful. The overall experiance with Andrew and his/Precisions use of technology (email appointment reminders, and credit card payment onsite) made the experiance smooth. I will definitly recommend Precision to anyone in need of garage door repair, and will also use them for my future needs. -DB

It appears to be a good, quality job. One thing I didn't understand. The technician called me asking whether to fix or replace the door opener. (My wife was at home but I had asked when I made the appointment for them to call me at work for what needed to be done.) I asked him what was the cause for the gear failure and he had not looked at the rest of the door to give me a complete picture of what was needed. He didn't call me any more after that. I told you when I made the appointment I was both a senior and a veteran and asked about the 5% discount in your advertisement. Did the PDS Overhaul price charged include the 5% discount on the parts? It was not itemized. Again, the job looks great and my wife said he seemed to know what he was doing. That is great.

The cable on my 2 car side of the garage broke. It was Saturday morning and I could not reach the original installer and left a message. I called Precision an hour later and they arrived at my house 2 hours later. The situation was assessed and the Tech made some recommendations. I had the door hardware overhauled. The doors were repaired and operational within 2 hours. The Tech was Prompt, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend using Precision Overhead Door Service and give them a 5 star rating,

About a month ago they came out to tune-up one door and it worked great for several days. Then it started messing up really bad. So I bought a new tune+up & roller replacement on all 3 doors. The serviceman pulled the cover off the opener that was worked on about a month ago and said that the rep from a month ago should have caught the real problem.. He replaced some stripped gears and the rollers and all doors are operating good.
