I would highly recommend Precision. Our technician, Kevin, inspected the door and made suggestions as to other things that might improve the garage doors function as well as longevity. He was not pushy but very informative and left the decision up to me. The work was performed quickly and efficiently and he left the garage cleaner than he found it. There is a noticeable difference in the garage door function as well as now being able to check status of the door through our phones. Great repair, information and service!!

Grossly overpriced. Told me springs needed replaced when just needed tension added. Very sales focused. Not a service company.
Hi Colby, As we discussed on the phone, in most cases older springs that are wearing out cannot just simply be overwound to compensate. This not only causes too much tension in the up position, but greatly speeds up the spring failure. I'm sorry that the technician failed to explain this at the time of your service. You were going to offer the spring repair of my garage @ $80.00 when I decided I just wanted the estimate for now(after growing skeptical when being told a if I wanted everything need fixed it could range from $700 to over $900). I was happy to pay for the time of the service call. The owner/manager was very insistent on the phone stating he didn't allow techs to leave a broken garage door. I said I didn't want something for nothing and didn't expect to only pay $80.00 for the repair. We agreed on $140 to put on a pair of your smaller springs. This whole experience felt like an attempt to up-sell from the beginning. Your technician was knowledgeable and polite...but I could tell he was very irritated when I was feeling hesitant and just wanted to pay for the time to give me the estimate and assess the door. We had talked about a remote(I needed an extra) and I accepted a charge of $50.00 . I didn't argue on the price because I already felt like I was the "bad customer." I found a remote for a Linear garage door motor for 20.00 on line. Not a very good experience....other than the promptness to schedule and get out to my house same day. Apologized to your tech for not being his easiest customer...and he said "you're not as bad as the cold." Wow...

I called Precision due to an error I was suddenly having with my garage door. They were able to come over within 24 hours. They promptly diagnosed the problem and took care of the issues. And did some regular maintenance as well to hopefully keep the doors working for years to come! Mike was great and very helpful!

I looked on the Angie's List site for businesses that performed what I needed; a new spring for my garage door. I called the number at the top of the list, it had the most reviews. After explaining what I needed, the lady said she scheduled a technician to come between 12 and 3:00. In less than 20 minutes I received a call and the technician said he would be here in about 20 minutes. He arrived in about 15. My situation was a bit bit extreme in that the actual door is clad with decorative wood which adds to the weight. For brevity, I'm not going to describe all that needed to be done. Technician installed new springs that would do the job and completed the task in good time. He did a great job on a difficult problem.

The opener stopped working. Our grandkids were over and apparently stepped on some wires that we did not notice. We called at 3:45 on a Friday afternoon and they sent Nick to fix the problem. He was at our home within a hour and diagnosed and repaired. Very happy with the service as well as the amount charged.

We were very happy with the work done by Andrew of Precision Doors. This is the second time he has done repairs for us — the first time the garage door needed repairs, and this time we needed a new garage door opener. Both times he did a clean, high-quality job, leaving the garage door and opener in better shape than when the house was new. We were particularly pleased that Andrew made some changes to the supports of the garage door opener so the new one is much more firmly attached than the original one that came with the house. We would not hesitate to refer Precision Doors to our friends and family.
