Upon returning from vacation, we discovered that our garage door would not open. It was approximately 7:00 PM, and through a referral, we contacted Precision Garage Door, which was open until 7:30 PM. To my surprise, the customer service representative was exceptionally friendly and scheduled an appointment for us first thing the next morning. We received a text informing us that our technician, Kevin, was en route and he subsequently called to confirm. Kevin was extremely polite and knowledgeable, and he did not apply any pressure during our conversation. He presented us with various repair options, categorized as low-end, mid-range, and high-end. He identified that the cables had snapped and the springs had broken. At no point did we feel coerced into selecting one package over another. In fact, he mentioned a less expensive $700 repair option, cautioning that it would require a follow-up visit due to the motor functioning inefficiently and the board beginning to overheat. After considerable discussion, we opted for the complete package, which included everything along with a new opener featuring a camera and remote functionality. Initially, we had anticipated a cost of just a few hundred dollars, but we ultimately spent $3,687.73 and could not be more satisfied with our decision. Not only did Kevin complete the work in less time than estimated, but he also cleaned my garage floor more thoroughly than it was upon his arrival. He took the time to explain everything and assisted me in setting up the related applications, guiding me through the entire process. I would highly recommend Precision Garage Door and specifically suggest Kevin as your technician. His performance far exceeded our expectations, and he certainly deserves recognition for his exemplary service. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone in need of repairs or a comprehensive garage door solution. While they may not be the most economical option available, their quality of service and warranty make the extra cost justifiable. The efficiency of their service is commendable. Please be sure to inform Kevin that Larry sends his regards.

I saw some positive reviews on Nextdoor by neighbors. I have had two horrible experiences. It was your technician Josh B who easily recognized what the problem was and quickly fixed the issue for a fair price. I will now have to have him back to do the same to our other two garage doors, they are heavy wood.

Drew & Marcus arrived on time and listened attentively to my concerns. They did a thorough examination of my door, motor, and all mechanical parts. Drew explained the options for repair and replacement of parts, with appropriate costs, that would make my 17-year-old door operational, efficient and reliable. He patiently answered all of my questions and gave an accurate assessment of time to complete. After the work was finished, Drew carefully went through a checklist of their work, how to register my new motor, and provided a detailed invoice.

Jeff, Service Tech was very professional, was extremely patient while waiting for the tenant to move his things out of the unit so that he could do the repair. Jeff was very personable with our staff and our customer. He explained everything about the job in detail and did a great job. I would love to have him as the service tech every time we need a repair. Thanks so much.

Everything about my experience was 5 stars. The technician , Elliott was prompt and professional. We had a door completely off the hinges on both sides Sunday evening. By Monday evening everything had been repaired. The only unfortunate part for us is the cost, but it’s not something that can be helped. Things like these are part of home ownership. Thanks

I was able to book a service call with Precision very quickly and the technician was great. Brandon was courteous and professional, very thorough in explaining the description of the work and material choices. I had him replace springs, plates, drums, cables, shaft and rollers. He had all needed parts on his truck. Garage door maintenance and parts are pricey but I felt the job was completed very well and I'd highly recommend Brandon at Precision Garage Door Service.

My garage door broke yesterday. Precision was out to fix it within 24 hours. I have a degree in engineering, so I can tell you that my technician, Royal, offered an accurate explanation of what went mechanically wrong and what needed to be replaced. I've come across technicians from other companies who provide biased recommendations because they repeat the script offered to them. Not so here. Just honest facts. And I got options to decide from ranging in price, all of which would have fixed the problem but some which would increase up-front cost for lower future costs. Royal was extremely professional and courteous. I really want to stress that because for me, the quality of the technician makes a huge difference. If he's any indication of the kind of technicians that work at Precision, you will get someone with a great knowledge of the product and strong core values (family, honesty).

Called them on Saturday at 3 - RJ was here in a hour! Amazing service and a very nice knowledgeable young man. Quick fix and said if I had any other problems call back and they would replace unit. Precision Door offers fair prices and amazing service! Oh yeah - no charge for visit. I had them replace everything 1 1/2 years ago and they stand by their work.

We are very pleased with the service we just received. We had Precision install our new garage door opener in 2021, it had a battery back-up too. Never had a problem until 2 days ago the unit started beeping. It was just needing a new battery. So I called this morning, and within a few hours the service man, Mike, was here and changed out the battery, did a door check, and we are back in business. Prompt and friendly service...something you don't find often. Thanks for thinking of the customer first. Paul & Pat Casler
