I've had small problems with my garage door for years. Then yesterday it went completely off track, got crooked, bent one of the rails, and got stuck. Mike came and explained clearly what was causing the problems and gave me options for how thoroughly I wanted to get it fixed. The door and opener were in good shape, but the springs and moving parts were either shot or worn. I opted for the full overhaul, and now my door operates smoothly and much more quietly. After muddling through with a door that gave me various problems on a regular basis, I'm happy to have a door that really works as it should.

5 STARS....Next day service and Eric provided outstanding technical knowledge and was able to provide repairs and improvements that were much needed. I was able to save money. A new door opener was not required. Rest assured, when I do replace the door opener, I will ask for Eric!!!

The spring broke on our garage door Saturday night. After unsuccessfully contacting the previous repair company I used, I decided to try someone new. I found Precision in the Home Pages, and I called for service late Sunday afternoon. The operator was informative and was able to provide accurate pricing for a broken spring repair. By being able to talk with someone on Sunday I was able to get service first thing Monday morning, which I was totally fine with. The technician, Andrew, arrived ontime and was quickly able to diagnose and inform me of the issue and some other minor items that may need corrected in the future. Based on his recommendation our single spring was replaced by 2 springs for better lift capability. Andrew was well spoken and very respectful. The overall experiance with Andrew and his/Precisions use of technology (email appointment reminders, and credit card payment onsite) made the experiance smooth. I will definitly recommend Precision to anyone in need of garage door repair, and will also use them for my future needs. -DB

It appears to be a good, quality job. One thing I didn't understand. The technician called me asking whether to fix or replace the door opener. (My wife was at home but I had asked when I made the appointment for them to call me at work for what needed to be done.) I asked him what was the cause for the gear failure and he had not looked at the rest of the door to give me a complete picture of what was needed. He didn't call me any more after that. I told you when I made the appointment I was both a senior and a veteran and asked about the 5% discount in your advertisement. Did the PDS Overhaul price charged include the 5% discount on the parts? It was not itemized. Again, the job looks great and my wife said he seemed to know what he was doing. That is great.
