We have a 3-year old home that was a builder's spec house. Accordingly, not a lot of higher-end fixtures were present when we bought the house. The original, chain-drive opener for our double garage door (the door was of high quality and very heavy) was under-powered. The opener would strain and the door would often bind, the rollers in the tracks screeching metal-on-metal. The noise was so loud our neighbors could hear it inside their home. I called Precision for advice and the two technicians spent considerable time explaining the issues. I asked that they provide 3 options and they did, further explaining the costs and benefits of each. I chose to upgrade to a more-powerful, belt-drive unit. The technicians upgraded the rollers, reinforced the door connection to the lift, and made sure the door was square and plumb. I entered the garage from the house the moment they were opening the newly-repaired door with the new belt-drive opener. I was amazed at how incredibly quiet the new system was. The Precision professionals gave me viable options, went beyond my expectations, and will get my business every time. Thank you!

My service technician was Kevin U and he was accompanied by Pascal. They both were very professional, honest, very knowledgeable, kind, caring and hard working. My house was built in 2002. I asked Kevin to please assess what needs to be repaired and or replaced. He provided me with three quotes to replace the unit and necessary parts and made it perfectly clear that it was my choice. He never once pushed me in anyway, and when I asked him questions he was very honest with me. I replaced the grange door opener, springs, keypad and all other necessary parts to the system excluding the track and the door. I can’t speak highly enough about Kevin U and Pascal. I have owned my own business, I am in the new home building business and work with many vendors every day and I could have used on of them. Customer service is extremely important to me and these two young men are phenomenal! They couldn’t do enough for me. They’re uniforms were professional and clean, they wore their masks, they worked hard and cleaned everything up including the leaves in my driveway. Lol These two are truly an asset to Precision and their manager should be extremely proud of them. This was my first experience with Precision. I chose you because I liked the professional and informative website including showing your technicians bio’s I would hands down hire these two gentleman in a heartbeat. Keep doing what you’re doing to hire and run a great company that clearly understands that “ if you don’t treat your customers the right way, you won’t have a business for very long! Nate installed door and opener quickly and accurately. It seems he knows his profession. He is friendly and helpful. So everything was done great. I would recommend to provide short instructions how to set up remotes, if you have them, please e-mail (just in case)

Ryan reviewed the situation and decided that a new wall control was necessary. He replaced the unit, it worked for a minute and then didn't. He replaced the wire and checked again. It has worked several times so I'm sure it is AOK. He proceeded to check the various other working parts of the GCO and checked everything related to the GD and the workings of the opener. Success! We were having intermittent trouble with our garage door and when Ryan D. came out to troubleshoot, he not only found the primary cause, but took the time to provide very detailed customer education. We not only clearly understood the issue, but now have a much better understanding of how our garage door should work. Ryan offered several solutions to update our garage door components. We chose to go with the full replacement of everything except the door. We had no clue how big a difference a precision balanced garage door system would make. The door is now so smooth and quiet my dogs don’t know when it opens or closes. With the added benefits of the wireless connectivity, app access, battery backup, and security we could not be happier! Working with Precision is absolutely the best garage door service experience we’ve every had. I would highly recommend them if you want the best service and support for your garage door.

Drew, our technician, arrived early and quickly assessed the door’s issues; Door misaligned due to cable coming off track, weak spring, aging rollers, etc. He provided different levels of repairs and estimated costs. The repairs were made within his estimated time frame and the door and opener are now working. Drew is very knowledgeable and was at ease explaining the operation and problems associated with the door. In short, Drew was informed, friendly and professional.
