At 630pm on 6/8 the main tension spring in my garage door snapped. I called precision and was first very surprised that they were open past normal business hours wich was a major relief. The receptionist was very polite and informative. She was well spoken and assisted me with setting an appointment the very next day at 8-10am. She also gave me a brief overview of the cost and a typical service call. The next day 6/9 at 802am Mike the service tech called me to advise that he was 15 minutes away. 815 Mike is at my front door. We go to the garage and he confirms that the spring is broken for me. Explains what he is going to do and will also perform an inspection on the door to make sure everything is okay. 10-15 mins later Mike ask me to come look at the door with him. Mike goes over in detail that there are some other issues, my plate bearings are all seized. Not only did he tell me this he showed me that they were not moving freely and could hear them grinding. Mike went over the different options with me. Saying he could replace only the tension springs and the door will work but the extra strain from the sezied bearing may cause problems down the road. Mike then went over the option of an over haul of the garage door bearings and rollers for what seemed a very fair price along with the tension springs. I agreed to the overhaul. Mike started the over haul and was done with in 45 mins. Mike kept the work site clean and spotless. He also assisted with backing the car that was stuck in the garage to make sure he had clearance to work. I am a very satisfied customer for a great price my garage door is now quite and all the new parts have a lifetime warranty. Great service and a very well informed and trained tech.
