Mike fixed an out-of-line rail which was causing a loud squeak when the door closed. Inspected everything, and lubricated bearings and wheels. He called when he was available early, which was great with me, and cleared my afternoon. I purchased my door from them 10 years ago, and it still looks great.

The technician arrived in a timely manner and was very friendly. I had a broken spring causing the door to only partially open. The tech put a quote together to make repairs and added several other items to the bid. I just went with what was needed at that time. I felt the quote was very high at over $900 and found out the quote was for a stronger spring than what I previously had. I did not realize there were options. I went back out and the tech said he thought I wanted the stronger spring because I said the door was used a lot. He did agree to change the spring back to a standard spring with no problem. He also helped me with reprogramming a couple of remotes that only took a couple of minutes. I still felt $637 for a spring and a cable that took less than an hour to repair was way too much. I paid less than $1,000 5 years ago to have the entire door replaced. I looked up the average cost to have these items replaced and the typical cost is between $300-$500. The door is working fine so my only complaint is the high cost. I would not recommend Precision due to this factor and this is the reason for the 3 stars.

$80 was alot for the charge for someone just to come out and spray lubricant on the spring. At least you can buy alot of lubricant spray cans with $80. He could've checked the hinges and rollers to make sure they were tight. Technician said hinges and rollers looked good never checked to see if any screws might have been loose.

The door operates better than it has in a long time; it's also a lot quieter. The Service Person did a great job. I called at 8:30 AM and they were there at 11:30 AM the same day. They replaced the rollers and the springs and the door now works great where before it could barely open.

Realized we had a broken spring about 4:00 in the afternoon and they had someone out at our house by 6:15. We were very impressed with their prompt service and Kevin was very accommodating in sharing options with other safety concerns that needed addressing. We will definitely keep Precison in mind for next time!
