Repair of a sprocket, but after that there was an issue with the door closing properly. Door would go down a bit, then back up. Technician came out two other times, a bit unsure, then on fourth trip Josh came out and issue seems to have been resolved. Just continue to stress, one issue fixed followed by an entirely new and different issue that occurred immediately after the first issue. Still a bit wary of the door operation, but has been working properly past two days. Did hear quite a pitch from Josh regards to upgrades suggested, though I respectively declined.
Hi Alan, I'm sorry we had the follow up issue. Believe me, we don't like to make multiple warranty trips any more than you want to need them. Thankfully the issue was corrected. Your door failed several things on the safety inspection and was in need of further repairs. The gear and sprocket on your opener that was damaged was most likely due to these problems with your door. If I can be of any assistance please let me know.

I was looking at the second repair in a year- of a 20 year old craftsman opener. Usually, I research all options to ensure I make the most economical, prudent decision. However, I impulsively called for service, because I was tired of lifting the garage door by hand. Although they did tell me there was a trip charge, I didn't consider that if I didn't like the options presented, I could go another route. All in all, if I had done things right, (in my eyes) I would have priced the openers that Precision offered, and researched the kind of opener I could go and buy myself and have installed. I am unemployed, so to get the best option was important. Although I felt the Liftmaster opener was too basic for the price, I am satisfied with the performance. I ended up getting the lowest priced one they offered. If I'd bought one at a big box store, I would have chosen a keypad entry. But it was too pricey. The opener I bought came with a basic wall control that didn't operate the light. I called and spoke with Chad, and this is why I'm giving four stars. He was very nice and patient, and was intent in "making me a satisfied customer." He upgraded the wall control at no extra cost. And also pointed out that if something were to go wrong with the opener, they would come out and fix it. If I bought one outright, I wouldn't have that option. Chad went out of his way to rectify my issue, and that kind of customer service is important to me. Travis the installer was also very professional. I am blunt and complained about the fact that I could have bought one, blah blah blah, and he remained nice and polite. I would use Precision again.

When I needed emergency service on my garage door, I had no idea who to call. I looked up info on the internet and the company with the highest ratings, Precision, was my first choice. The Dispatcher was wonderful and didn't make me feel like a burden for calling after hours and within 10 minutes of hanging up, Travis called to tell me he was on the way. When he arrived, he quickly assessed the damage and gave me a couple of options. He didn't pressure me towards any choice but made sure that I had all of the facts. I was amazed at how quickly he was able to get my door repaired! He actually smiled when he demonstrated my repaired door to me!! I've been in the service industry for over 20 yrs and the level of service I received from start to finish from Precision Door Service is SUPERIOR! I will recommend your company to everyone! I can't say enough positive things about this company. We had purchased a deal on Angie's list and Precision was prompt in getting our service scheduled. Josh was our technician and he was awesome. He arrived on time. He even called and offered to come early if we were available. In looking at our garage door, a broken spring and problems with our opener he laid out all kinds of options. He was thorough in giving suggestions for solutions for all issues. He was not pushy, was honest about the various costs, offered opinions about types of doors including colors to match our house. He never appeared to be in a hurry, did not pressure us and was very patient and let my husband and I talk out the best options. Once all of our decisions were made (new opener, new door, new rollers) Josh quickly calculated our deposit and told us that we would receive a phone call the next day to schedule our installation. Precision was again very prompt in calling us and our service was scheduled for the following week. Outstanding service. There needs to be more companies that provide customer service like that of Precision! We look forward to our new garage door installation.

Our experience was pretty terrible with this company. After two months from the time of the order, we have garage doors installed and they look good and work well, but are not exactly what we had ordered. Our order was actually messed up a couple different times. The technician was fabulous, but the office staff were not super helpful and messed up the order at least one of the times.

We are very pleased with our service. Our garage door would not go up, but the motor would run.We called and told them we were "stuck" here until they could come. Our tech came within 2 hours of our call.He explained the things that were broken and how much it would cost to fix them. He was VERY polite and friendly. He had everything fixed within an hour and showed us how the new parts were working. The heat that day was really bad and we heard no complaints!! 6 stars!!!!

Troy and crew were very intent on making sure the door was properly installed and perfectly aligned. He also identified the faulty rubber seal and indicated it would be replaced. I would recommend the company to others looking for a new door. This is the second house on which we have installed new garage doors provided by Precision Garage Doors and very pleased with the results in both instances.

The quality of the technician was relatively good, but he neglected to put the fastener on the clovis pin which was rectified by another technician. You originally quoted price for the opener to be installed plus tax; the additional charge for the remotes was understandable. However, the fuel charge was a complete surprise and somewhat unethical. Installed plus tax appears to not really mean--installed plus tax.

Corey was very thorough in determining the problem with our garage door opener and in explaining his recommended repairs/replacements. The new opener works quietly and efficiently and is a definite improvement over what we had. Based on this experience, I would not hesitate to recommend Precision. By the way, a big part of my positive impression with the company came from the scheduler (Vicki?) who took my initial call and did a great job in getting our service scheduled quickly.

Very quick. I called at 7:30am and they had someone out by 10am. The spring on my door had broken and upon further inspection my bearing were also worn out. Josh B. was my tech and he did a fantastic job. Very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly to me. He was done within a hour and my door is much quieter and smoother.
