My garage door had issues with automatically opening and closing consistently. I found Precision on Angie's List. I chose this company because it advertised competent service and fully stocked vans. Also, the $40 coupon was inviting. Brittany was very helpful with scheduling. The service tech, Andrew S., was on time and personable. He listened patiently to my explanation of the issue. After a thorough check up, he described all the issues. Since the door was installed when house was built in 2006, several parts were starting to show wear. He offered a price quote for each item. A new motor was imperative and I decided to be proactive and replace everything suggested. Andrew was efficient and skilled. He performed the repair in less time than estimated. I was very satisfied Andrew's service. He exceeded my expectations! It's so nice to have a functioning, QUIET garage door. Thank you!!

If there were six (6) stars I would have given them 6! Fantastic service and on a Sunday, no additional charges for the weekend. Not only did Frank Stone, their tech, get my garage door operational, but he schooled me in how to use my new MyQ app on my phone, to operate my door from anywhere. He was on time and an absolute pleasure to work with, I highly recommend Precision.

Grossly overpriced. Told me springs needed replaced when just needed tension added. Very sales focused. Not a service company.
Hi Colby, As we discussed on the phone, in most cases older springs that are wearing out cannot just simply be overwound to compensate. This not only causes too much tension in the up position, but greatly speeds up the spring failure. I'm sorry that the technician failed to explain this at the time of your service. Eric Gellenbeck came to my house when my garage door quit working and my car was trapped inside. He found a broken spring and then inspected the rest of my door explaining everything he found. After presenting me with options, cost, etc. I decided to have them replace the door. Eric was very professional, honest and helped me decide the most cost effective way to correct the problem. He never tried to push me in any direction but offered guidance. Eric is fantastic and I am very grateful for him and the time he spent helping me. I will never use another garage door company. Precision is honest, does great work and has fantastic people working for them. They really do care about their customers!

I saw the positive reviews on your web site and was not disapointed. Mike was there early in the time slot and went over what was needed to get all of our doors in good working condition. He completed the entire job for 3 doors in one afternoon and made sure we were satisfied with the work. It was great!

After hearing a thunderous crash Saturday night apparently eminating from my laundry room and not being able to find anything in the house that caused such a noise I went to bed and never left the house the next day, About 10 AM on Monday morning I found the cause of the noise as the garage door would only open about 2 feet - the torsion spring had broken. Went immediately to Google search and found Precision at the top of the list. A call to them got me an appointment for 11-1 PM and by 1 something everything was fixed and I was free. Opted for complete overhaul and got great fast service - had almost all movable parts replaced (rollers, bearings, cable drums, cables and shaft). Now operates like a new door after about 25 years of previous use. Thanks.
