Eric was born in Lafayette, IN, and has lived in Fishers for the last 25 years. He has a business management degree from Ball State University. He has been married for almost 25 years and has two daughters. Eric is quite the outdoorsman and adventurist, he is an Eagle Scout, and a licensed sport pilot. He enjoys camping and boating with his family, and when he's not working hard at Precision Door he coaches his daughters sports teams, and plays adult league soccer. Eric enjoys traveling and only has two states left to visit Hawaii, and Alaska to have been to all 50.

Eric was fantastic! He fixed the issues we were having with our garage door closing properly. He quickly found there was a wiring issue and got it repaired. He also replaced the old rubber seal at the bottom of the door. We have used a large national company in the past and was not impressed with their service and prices. We wanted to try a smaller, local company this time and we are so glad we did!! Eric was great to work with and we enjoyed talking to him as well. We will use Precision Garage Door for any future services.

We got a quote from the "BIG" company that installed our garage door openers, and Precision's was much less. We were able to get service scheduled on our door spring and related part very quickly, and the technician (Eric G) arrived promptly when we were told he would. He was wonderful in explaining what was going on with our door, and our options. We felt educated, not pressured. In a day and age when contractors are rude, late and routinely disappoint, we felt very fortunate that we decided to call Precision Garage Door Service of Indianapolis. From here out, they will be our first and ONLY call when we need garage door service.

Very impressed and appreciative. Garage door went up for me this morning but wouldn’t come down. I tried everything. Precision had fabulous ratings so I reached out. I used Precision Garage Door Service a couple years ago for spring repair. Today 7/8/2025 Eric G and Blayke C came by did a wonderful job. I had some repairs made to both overhead doors and fancy new opener installed on each door. The two guys are both very professional, we chatted for a minute and decided what I wanted to do. I got the name from a neighbor. I did not know what to expect. The technician explained all that was involved with the motor and why it should be replaced and then what I could do to make it more efficient. We do have a lot of surges in this area and I was thrilled that I could get a surge protector. The technician and his new follower were terrific to work with. They are above everyone in the service industry as far as I'm concerned.

Tried to leave for work and the garage door would not go up! I saw that the spring was broken so I looked up the website and booked an appointment online (7:45 am). The cars were trapped in the garage! Eric came out within an hour of booking online, he was very professional, friendly and knew exactly what was wrong. He gave me a quote and got it fixed quickly. It's a new house and he pointed out that for the original install of the insulated garage door the original installer didn't use the right hardware for the heavier insulated door, and that the other small garage door was not installed correctly either. I would very highly recommend Precision and Eric in particular for being so quick and helpful!

I chose Precision randomly looking for a garage door service, in hopes of an affordable replacement, and no pressured sales. Eric and Brandon arrived and after a quick look at the problem, I let them be. After they reviewed the damage to my door, Eric asked if I wanted to fix it, or replace it. I hadn't even thought that repair would be an option. Eric and Brandon repaired the damage that I had accidentally caused, and had even a lower total than I was quoted. Very impressed with the entire experience.
