Eric was born in Lafayette, IN, and has lived in Fishers for the last 25 years. He has a business management degree from Ball State University. He has been married for almost 25 years and has two daughters. Eric is quite the outdoorsman and adventurist, he is an Eagle Scout, and a licensed sport pilot. He enjoys camping and boating with his family, and when he's not working hard at Precision Door he coaches his daughters sports teams, and plays adult league soccer. Eric enjoys traveling and only has two states left to visit Hawaii, and Alaska to have been to all 50.

I never had to work on a garage door before, so I threw the dice and reached out to Precision. This was a true 5-star experience. You first get a message giving you some real info about your technician, so it isn't like meeting a stranger. Then Eric G came and saved me. The previous owner destroyed the garage by installing the door with no stud. He masterfully fixed everything, and you wouldn't even know he had to cut into it. The price was incredibly reasonable as well. They have my business when it comes to garage door maintenance and installs from now on.

Eric G came on time after calling ahead first. Upon arrival he evaluated our garage door and came up with options that was priced with different pricing and warranties. After we decided on the option we wanted, Eric proceeded with the task at hand. Afterwards he did a walkthrough and we were well pleased with what was done. My technician, Eric, was great. Timely to the appointment and thorough in his explanation of the issues with my 13 year old door/opener. Gave me several options for repair/replacement (and the option not to repair/replace). Did feel as if I was being “sold” anything I didn’t need. Repair was complete timely. Eric took the time to help reprogram all openers and serviced my second door while on site. I would recommend Eric to any friend/neighbor.

Excellent service. Eric came out the same day I called. He immediately saw the source of my problem. He fixed it, serviced the door opener and installed a new gasket on the door. He charged a fair price and I will call on Precision in the future.

Technician Eric G was very knowledgeable , friendly and explained things very clearly. We had a 20 year old opener witha worn out gear and he explained the options of replacing the gear only and other possible problems with 20 year old unit later on. We opted to buy new unit & wheels and are very happy with the results.

Key Pad went bad. Your company replaced about three years ago. Upon further inspection the replaced key pad was bad and needed replacing. After furthur inspection it was noted that Cables. Bearings and Springs also needed replacement. After $1.600 I was told that I'm good as new but possibilities motor could go soon? Happy New Year!

This review is given by an industrial journeyman electrician of over 40 years and a DYI'er most of my life. I don't give 5 stars to contractors of any sort. They are a business and the first order of business is the bottom line. Customer interest is second. After numerous attempts on my part to get the opener to program, I gave up and found Precision on google maps close by me. They're 5 star ratings convinced me to call. Long story short: I'm happy with the outcome tho it came at sticker shock cost. Suggestion: explain to the customer what was done to solve/fix the problem.
