We have a 3-year old home that was a builder's spec house. Accordingly, not a lot of higher-end fixtures were present when we bought the house. The original, chain-drive opener for our double garage door (the door was of high quality and very heavy) was under-powered. The opener would strain and the door would often bind, the rollers in the tracks screeching metal-on-metal. The noise was so loud our neighbors could hear it inside their home. I called Precision for advice and the two technicians spent considerable time explaining the issues. I asked that they provide 3 options and they did, further explaining the costs and benefits of each. I chose to upgrade to a more-powerful, belt-drive unit. The technicians upgraded the rollers, reinforced the door connection to the lift, and made sure the door was square and plumb. I entered the garage from the house the moment they were opening the newly-repaired door with the new belt-drive opener. I was amazed at how incredibly quiet the new system was. The Precision professionals gave me viable options, went beyond my expectations, and will get my business every time. Thank you!

I found this company just by a quick internet search. Before my technician arrived, I received a text saying he was on his way and it gave a quick bio about him (where he's from, education, children, interests). This was nice because I didn't feel like I was going in blind and it gave me a heads up to put my dogs up. My technician Nick was really great. He also had someone training with him who was also very kind. Nick made sure to discuss with me what I was wanting to accomplish with my garage repair and reviewed everything before doing the work so that I was charged for exactly what I expected. He also made reasonable recommendations based on the age of my garage equipment. Both men worked very quickly even though my door was off the track, hanging crooked, broken spring and the track was coming out of the wall. I was overall very satisfied with this quick repair and plan to use this company again for sure for any future garage door repairs! He left a sticker on the inside of my garage door for easy future reference. 10/10!

Garage door tune up only. Professionalism was evident. Where is the invoice? I see no cost included in the technicians correspondence. Garage door tune up was completed in a timely manner and professionalism was evident. The only issue is what was the cost? -I see no invoice included with the technicians e-mail.

Had Precision come out to replace the worn out rubber seal on the bottom of my garage door. Upon the completion of that job, Ryan inspected the door’s operation and noted that the lift belt on our 22 year old opener was hanging on by a thread. He replaced the opener with a new one - everything thoroughly done in a courteous, professional manner. Great company to do business with, with reasonable pricing and super technicians.

My service technician was Kevin U and he was accompanied by Pascal. They both were very professional, honest, very knowledgeable, kind, caring and hard working. My house was built in 2002. I asked Kevin to please assess what needs to be repaired and or replaced. He provided me with three quotes to replace the unit and necessary parts and made it perfectly clear that it was my choice. He never once pushed me in anyway, and when I asked him questions he was very honest with me. I replaced the grange door opener, springs, keypad and all other necessary parts to the system excluding the track and the door. I can’t speak highly enough about Kevin U and Pascal. I have owned my own business, I am in the new home building business and work with many vendors every day and I could have used on of them. Customer service is extremely important to me and these two young men are phenomenal! They couldn’t do enough for me. They’re uniforms were professional and clean, they wore their masks, they worked hard and cleaned everything up including the leaves in my driveway. Lol These two are truly an asset to Precision and their manager should be extremely proud of them. This was my first experience with Precision. I chose you because I liked the professional and informative website including showing your technicians bio’s I would hands down hire these two gentleman in a heartbeat. Numerous repairs were done. Brandon ascertained what repairs needed to be done and discussed them with my wife and I. He seemed to understand the dilemma that we were facing as seniors and on a fixed income. He checked with his boss and we were offered a way to have most of the repairs done without having to purchase a new door at that time. We were very pleased with Brandon and the work that he did.

The quality is good, workmanship is good (only time can tell). But it was outrageously expensive. I searched "garage door repair near me" - instead I should have just called Sears. My house is 20 years old. The Sears Craftman garage door worked for 20 years, and a similar one (at less than 1/3 the price of Precision) would work fine for another 20 years. My LEDs were misaligned - a simple issue. But then the spring at the top wore out and broke. I searched the Internet - a pair of those springs cost $59. Ryan charged me $496. Similarly a Craftman controller is around $275. I was charged way more than that. With the enormous cost, I asked Ryan if you would allow deferred payment - which means the customer makes monthly payments for a year or something. He said Yes, you could split it into 2 payments. At the end of the job he said the 2 payments were due yesterday and today - in other words there was no deferred payment. Customers should do a price shopping before engaging this company.

I called because my parents had their door serviced by your company. This was years ago and I could only hope your company was still valuable. I was told when I called, upfront that there would be a upfront service call fee. I was also told I could use my credit card. I had no idea the final cost. I only had $200.00 available on my credit card. I explained this when the tech arrived. He said he would assess my door and let me decide. The estimate was well over $200.00. I told him I could not pay that much. I would have hang a curtain over it and pretend to have a garage door. I explained that I am I single grandma raising 2 grandkids. My budget was stressed to the limit. The tech got on his phone and made it work for me. I can not afford to replace my door or opener. When I can I will call you back and buy from your business. I have already told friends and family about my experience with you and recommended you. Thank your for your help and kindness.
