Your technician, Eric, did a great job on installing a new door opener after our old one failed. He arrived on time and worked efficiently. He pointed out a minor (and possibly a future major problem) with our old door. Since we had already planned to replace the door with a new insulated one this spring he told us about the fact that the door we need was now on sale at a substantial saving. We decided to replace it as soon as possible. Thanks, Precision, for your excellent service. There is never a good time for a garage door problem, especially during the winter.

I recently had my garage door repaired by Precision. The lady I spoke with when I made the appointment was very kind and explained everything in detail. The repairman called 30 minutes before arrival, as promised, was very polite and knew what he was doing. My door was repaired, inspected, and I was extremely happy with the experience. When the spring on my garage door broke, I called the company that had replaced the previous spring, and they were not open on the weekend. I did an internet search, and I found Precision. I called, and they sent a serviceman out. After a discussion with the technician, I decided to replace my 27 years old garage door versus replacing the spring for a 2nd time. I was very impressed with my serviceman Troy Brigman. He was very professional, and he took time during the installation to answer my questions about installation and maintenance of the door. Garage Repair We had used Precision for a garage door spring repair a few month's ago. Josh was our technician. He was very thorough in his explanation. He gave us a good, better and best solution for our situation with NO high pressure sales trying to get us to spend alot of money. This time our door wouldn't open: Josh came again. Upon review of all mechanisms, he couldn't find anything. Then it occurred to him that it might be weather related because of the harsh winter temps. Sure enough, a couple bangs and the door broke free from it's frozen tracks. I thought, "oh great, now I am going to have to pay a service fee for a simple frozen door in its track". Much to my surprise, we were not charged. That is small town, good old fashioned customer service that will have our return business and referrals to our friends.

I picked Precision because of price and the fact that I've had good experience with the products they sell in the past. I am not happy with the way the service guy sold my wife (I was at work and could not be reached) repairs to the spring system. This was unbudgeted cost. Further, he didn't explain in terms my wife would understand so that she apparently missed out on a package deal to fully repair the parts on our door.

Fast efficient service. Very professional. Appointments are scheduled and followed up with a reminder email showing photos of the repairmen. A phone call was provided about 20 minutes ahead of time that the repairman was on his way.

My appointment time was 12-2, and I had stated that I needed to be at work at 1. Eric called about 11 and asked if it was ok to come early. Of course! He was prompt, courteous, thorough in explaining the work that needed to be done. My house is closing in 2 weeks and I really didn't want to spend the extra money, but he also was informative as to the warranty and since the work was just being performed and could transfer to the new owner. Thank you for providing excellent service and techs.

I watched the video your have on you website. I believe my tech has put the wrong springs on has failed to adjust what was put on. when I unhooked the garage door opener and opened the door it acted like the door that slams to the ground and opens too quickly rocketing to the top.

Technician was not able to replicate issue we have been experiencing. As such, he blamed problem on light sensors and then took $80 from us. He made it clear he won't charge us $80 next time he comes out, but then I had to sign off on a bunch of disclaimers. Not impressed at all.

The service was done well, but the price seems expensive. Also your warranty policy seems like a way to lock people in to using your service only so you can charge what ever you feel like. Also the $80 service call fee is also too expensive. But I am glad that you reduce it for follow up work by $20 when the sticker is on the door.

I called precision garage due to the highly ranked customer feedback. When my garage door would start going down it would automatically go back up after moving only approx. 12". The first technician told me that the door itself was the problem. He said that if I order the $800 door today that I would not have to pay the service call fee. The door was installed by a different tech while we were out of town that day. Two days later the door started having the same problem as before. I called precision and they sent a third tech to my house a couple days later. He took the time to actually do some troubleshooting and was very pleasant to work with. He told me the whole problem was due to bad sensors. He called his supervisor and he said they could replace them for an additional $96. I also work in the field service industry. If I replaced a part for a customer under my recommendation and it did not fix the problem, I certainly would not charge them for my lack of troubleshooting abilities. I spoke with this supervisor on the telephone myself. He was unwilling to do anything to make this right! He would not even install the sensors for free after buying an $800 door for no reason! Do not let this company service your garage. They are scammers, and they are not willing to correct their mistakes!
