The technician arrived in a timely manner and was very friendly. I had a broken spring causing the door to only partially open. The tech put a quote together to make repairs and added several other items to the bid. I just went with what was needed at that time. I felt the quote was very high at over $900 and found out the quote was for a stronger spring than what I previously had. I did not realize there were options. I went back out and the tech said he thought I wanted the stronger spring because I said the door was used a lot. He did agree to change the spring back to a standard spring with no problem. He also helped me with reprogramming a couple of remotes that only took a couple of minutes. I still felt $637 for a spring and a cable that took less than an hour to repair was way too much. I paid less than $1,000 5 years ago to have the entire door replaced. I looked up the average cost to have these items replaced and the typical cost is between $300-$500. The door is working fine so my only complaint is the high cost. I would not recommend Precision due to this factor and this is the reason for the 3 stars.

I chose Precision Garage Door because I have had friends that have used this company and were very satisfied! This was a great service experience, it is so refreshing and important to me to get a real person answer the phone rather than being told to go to the webpage and report my issue. On the day of service, the expectations set by the person on the phone were exactly what happened. I was called by the technician before the estimated repair window and given an estimate of when he would be at my location, he was on time. He was friendly and professional. After looking at my garage door and opener, he then explained what the issue was. He then discussed the options and answered some questions that I had. His work was completed and he reviewed the pieces that were replaced and showed me how they were different than the original. We made sure the door was operational, the door sounded so quiet going up and down whereas before that, it was noisy and sounded strained. Thank you so much, I will definitely refer Precision to others.

Brandon was the person who was sent to service my issue. I ended purchasing almost everything new except the door itself. He called before arriving, explained all my options, gave a good estimate and finish the work timely and cleanly. He is terrific representation of your company. He had to work around a messy garage, pets and an owner who was limited physically. I appreciate him watching out for all of us(pets are escape artists). I scheduled an appointment for the next day to repair my broken spring. To my surprise Brandon was able to show up the same day. He was very courteous and pleasant to deal with. He quoted me several options and explained them all. I ended up doing more than replacing the spring, not because Brandon up sold me unnecessary parts but because he explained to me the benefits of replacing my old garage door parts. I will definitely call them again if needed.

Woke up this morning to our garage door not opening but saw a sticker from precision on the inside of the door. When I called they were able to get me in tomorrow morning but told me that if there was an opening maybe today. Call they call back and said there was an opening and sending someone this afternoon. They sent a text message that told me Brock D. was on his way after he had already called to say that he was 20 minutes out. Brock D. showed up said that he would be able to do a diagnostic and see what was all wrong with our door. Not only was he able to find the reason it wouldn’t open but he also saw things that were getting worn out that may cause a problem in the very near future. Brock D. was very understanding about needing to figure everything out today and he was great with our pups very personable mean and I enjoyed having him work on our garage door today. Reasonably priced for the work and parts that were provided. Overall not just a five star rating but a fantastic experience with this company .

Vladimir did a great job assessing our problem and making recommendations on options for repairing our garage door. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job in the installation. He offered options without pressuring a choice and even went beyond what I considered necessary to make sure that our garage door was well taken care of. My only question is that I haven't received receipt for my payment yet. Vladimir said he was going to send a detailed receipt via email. As of 4-14-22 I haven't received it.

We had a failure of our garage door opener which we had recently purchased from precision somewhere in the last 5 to 6 years. The technician who installed that one was wonderful. When I called today I made it clear that I was upset with the unit and how it had been less than reliable your company sent out Austin. This gentleman personifies excellence professionalism empathy and creativity all in one contractor. I know you can’t control all the ins and outs of the equipment that you purchase to resell. Eli came to meet with me the same day I called for service. We both concluded my garage door had to be replaced. A few days later, Dakota arrived with the new door, installed it within a few hours, reprogramed my garage door openers and was on his way. These two young men are a compliment to Precision Door Service. They represented their company in the most professional manner and completed the work timely. I need to mention that I was very impressed with Precision's text introduction of each technician prior to their arrival. I can't say enough about Precision's product, their staff and all-around business practices. They met every expectation.
