We had original service to our rental property garage door done January of 2018 and were pleased with the repairs and warranty. the tech was very professional and explained the work done. Then the door began acting up again the first part of June the tenant said and we again contacted for a service call that they did on June 13th with the service call fee of $80. The tenant said it worked well that day and then she was gone out of town and when she returned said it was doing the same thing again. I again contacted for follow up service and have an appointment with the tenant on Saturday the 23rd. Hopefully they do ot charge another service fee since has only been a few days since last serviced. We shall see. Thanks.

Called and was able to get a tech out the same day. Vladimir was able to even show up earlier than expected and did a great job on my garage door opener install. He was informative and walked me through everything, programmed and installed my keypad entry as well. He even noticed my double door was missing one of the torsion springs than another company failed to install when my door was installed. 5 star service!

Garage door wouldn't open. Called Precision and was impressed by the phone service and fast availability of a technician. Andrew came out and quickly diagnosed the issue (finding broken parts) and explained my options. I opted for a new garage door opener. Andrew was friendly, professional, and performed good work. He made sure I didn't have any questions prior to leaving. All this with the heat index over 100! Never had a garage door service before, so I cannot comment on pricing, but the experience was definitely top notch. I'd recommend them to friends and family if in need of garage door service.

Ben, the service tech was great, he earned the one star. There is a disconnect between the call center and the service folks. I informed the phone rep, Alex, of exactly what I needed: 240 lbs extension spring replacement. She quoted a price for that size spring, stating the service fee would be waived if we bought from them. Upon arrival, the sales pitch began for a fully upgraded door. I explained I just wanted to fix the immediate problem. The tech ended up on the phone and said the boss doesn't like to fix extension springs of that weight. When finally cornered, a price for the springs, which he didn't have on the truck, was nearly 4x the stated price. Nice guy, but I didn't call so I could meet a nice guy. Paid $80 "service" fee for a sales pitch. Why does the website say they work on both torsion and extension springs if the refuse to? Why is the extension spring on the cover page show a heavy weight style if they don't service them? Very disappointed.
Hi John, I'm very sorry we let you down. We didn't communicate properly, part of the reason is our customer service aren't used to hearing the term "Extension Spring", while you stated everything accurately on the call, they are used to customers reffering to Springs in many different terms. Here in central IN Extension are extremely rare. We only come across one once in every approximately 1000 service calls. That is the reason we don't keep them in the truck. While I have no issue repairing them at the customers request, and we do keep them in stock at the warehouse, we do advise against it in most circumstances especially on a door as heavy as yours. They simply are an inferior design on top of not nearly being as safe as torsion counterbalance systems. I hope the refund of the service fee was satisfactory, I apologize for the wasted time of the experince. We will learn from this error. Thank you, Joel Belyew

We called Precision in Indianapolis Tuesday evening for a repair. They were able to get us scheduled first thing Wed. morning. Kevin (the tech) called Wed morning to be certain the time still worked for us. He arrived when he said he would, in uniform with his name on it, and introduced himself. He kept us informed of what he would be doing. Kevin clearly stated what would be needed to get garage door functioning again. He laid out what needed to be done to get door functioning and the price. He also quoted on other things that may be an issue, but never pressured us. Kevin was straight forward, kind and made the repairs in a timely manner! Thank you!!!

Technician (Nick) called and arrived within appointment window. Explained multiple issues with door and various options to repair - necessary to recommended. Completed requested work timely and effectively. Pricing was somewhat higher than expected (several years since I had garage door repairs done) but fair given timing and need for quick repairs.

Kevin was awesome! He took the extra time to explain the issues I was having with the garage door. He then proceeded to give me a number of options that would best fit my budget and needs. He was very knowledgeable with questions I had and provided honest answers. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND what I expected. He made sure we were able to get the garbage can out of the garage in time for pick up!
