I had never used Precision before yesterday. I didn't know anything about the company before I placed my call to have someone come and look at my garage door opener. I was given a window of between 4 and 7 PM. Eric, the technician called shortly after 4 and was there within 15 minutes. He assessed the situation, gave me a quote for the work to be done. Eric was polite, engaging and extremely thorough and knowledgable about the work to be done. When he was done, he met my sister and then looked over her door and made the necessary repairs to her door to make it safe and functional. This is the third time i have used Precision for garage door problems. Once at a previous location and twice at my current location. I have been very satisfied with the service, customer interaction and the helpfulness of the technician(s) each of the three service calls. The technician arrived on time, required a little less time than he estimated and seemed to be straight forward in what repairs were needed immediately and those that could wait as well as the potential repercussions of waiting for short-term and long term. i did spend more than I had hoped, but there were more problems than I had anticipated. The price(s) were worth the equipment and labor. If needed, I will use them again and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

I'd figured out that my sensors were damaged when I'd only lived in my new house for a few months. I randomly found Precision online and the guy answering the phone was very nice and offered to get someone out to me the next morning. Kevin, the tech, arrived and assessed the situation and gave me realistic options with varying prices and no pressure; just honest truths about what I had, what was needed, and what could be done as a resolution. He was very professional and got me set up with a more appropriate horsepower unit for the weight of my garage door. He explained what was happening beyond burned out sensors and left me to make a very educated decision about replacing my entire unit now versus the alternative of having the entire unit struggle and potentially die within 2-8 months. The new unit is great and super silent. I can now use my smartphone to control the door and also check if it's up or down while I'm away from the house. Much thanks to Kevin and Precision for a wonderful experience with something that was very foreign to me as a first-time homeowner!

Very good service. The technician came out within 3 hours of the call and completed the repair in about 1 1/2 hours. However, a $500 markup on parts seems excessive (torsion spring overhaul kit - $110 online)

We chose Precision because we have used you the past few years. And most importantly, because you said you could have the door installed the next day. But we were informed on the day of install that you couldn’t get it installed for 5 more days! We would have contacted someone else because we were going out of town for the weekend. But we were assured that the door would be installed the next day.
