Austin is married and has two daughters, one crazy toddler and a third grader who loves dance. Austin grew up in Avon and has three younger sisters. He played baseball through junior college as a pitcher and graduated from Ball State University with an Exercise Science degree in 2008. Outside of work and family Austin volunteers at his church as an elementary youth pastor. Random claims to fame: - Was a professional bodybuilder in the WNBF - Acted in six independent horror films - Once ate a 64oz steak at Shula’s, the gigantic elk burger at Bub’s, and always cleans everyone’s plates at restaurants.

Austin arrived exactly on time, following a request for service we had submitted. There was one small concern about the overhead light, but everything otherwise was working perfectly, and he came to perform routine maintenance. He is the most professional and polite gentleman, absolutely charming and instilled enormous confidence in himself, the company and the work he was doing. Extremely patient, very helpful indeed. I believe the company is fortunate to have him as an employee. Just to say, none of your options regarding service performed properly describes the work. “Routine maintenance “ would be accurate.

Had a gear that needed replacing on a 1990's Wanye Dalton door opener. Called in for a schdeuled service and Austin showed p the next day and completed the door opener install quickly and professionally. Will use Precision Garage door service again when I need the other opener replaced.

Austin came out to diagnose the garage door issues I was having (loud clanky noises, not opening all the way up). He did a great job of figuring out the issues, providing different options to fix/replace motor/parts and installing everything timely. He also helped me reprogram the garage door opener on my car. I would recommend using Precision Garage Door.

I worked with Austin for installation of a Belt Drive Garage Door Opener (2022) and repair (2024). Installation: I was replacing a chain drive garage door opener on two garage doors. Austin clearly explained the differences between chain and belt drivers openers, which made the decision easy to convert from chain drive to belt drive. The install had some challenges as a result of poor decisions in the original install, but Austin fixed everything and verified everything worked. Repair: Austin made adjustments to garage tracks/frames for smoother open/close and explained proper maintenance steps. Austin is great to work with!

I looked at the ratings and it was all 5 stars. I am recently widowed and trying to figure out how to take care of our home of 23 yrs. It seems this the year everything seems to start breaking. I called Precision and they had someone that was able to come out and help me within a 2 hour window, which was such a blessing to me. Austin showed up and was so kind and helpful. I trusted him and knew he wouldn’t try to over charge me just because I was a woman living alone. He fixed my door and the charge was acceptable. He went over and beyond and helped me with the problem I had. I am a customer now forever. Thanks so much for you quick action and taking care of my problem. You guys rock

We had our garage door spring break on a Sunday evening and Precision was able to get a technician to our house first thing the following morning (which was greatly appreciated as our vehicles were trapped inside). While it was unfortunate that we needed repairs, our technician, Austin D., did a fantastic job of explaining the issues, and providing us with a detailed plan on what needed to be done as well as other options that would increase the lifespan of the door and motor. I cannot overstate how professional and knowledgeable Austin was, and he even went out of his way to avoid waking up our three month old son! Austin was not only professional, but he also explained things in a manner in which they were easy to understand, and he did not try and forcefully upsell us on items that were not necessary. The door was fixed in a timely and efficient manner and it is also much quieter thanks to the additional efforts that Austin put into his work. Thank you Precision for your timely and affordable services, and thank you Austin for being great at what you do. I will definitely use Precision again for my garage door service needs and I will be recommending them to anyone that is in need of their services!
