Josh was born and raised in Bagdad, Kentucky and attended school at Eastern Kentucky University where he majored in Landscape Design. Josh relocated to Indianapolis, and began his garage door career over 9 years ago. In his spare time he enjoys racing ATVs cross country, hunting almost anything, and spending time with his family and friends at home and on the farm.

I called because of your commercials. Got a nice text beforehand with Josh’s info. Josh was awesome. Super nice guy. He explained the issues and all of my options. Installed a new opener, remote and exterior key pad. Programmed everything and explained that process very well. After the work was completed, he cleaned up everything. I’m super impressed that Precision was able to come out so quickly and the install was also quicker than I thought. Will be calling Precision again for any possible future issues (my other opener is old as well). 5 stars!

Our Garage door was working sometimes and sometimes it would, Josh with precision was very professional, knowledgeable and patient. He found other issues that might have caused problems later down the road as well. This is the kind of service I prefer and i hope this is helpful to anyone that may be skeptical about reading reviews. This is a real customer and today is 12/10/24 And it’s 1:49 pm. When a cable snapped on the garage door of my new home, I called the company that originally installed and serviced it. After a frustrating conversation with their residential service department I decided to cancel the service call. It was all of the 5 star ratings that encouraged me to call Precision, and I'm so glad I did. Apparently my double car garage door only had one spring (instead of 2...why??), which had snapped. It appeared to be the 4th replacement spring based on how beat up the winding bar was. Because of this and the age of the system, basically all of the moving parts aside from the door itself needed to be replaced. While I wasn't planning on this major expense, I felt completely confident that it was both necessary and long overdue. The technician, Josh B, was on time, respectful, answered all of my questions, and gave me lots of options to accommodate my budget. I decided to also upgrade to a new and quieter belt drive system, which I feel confident this was a better choice than the big box store options. I highly recommend Precision and am impressed they were able to solve this issue for me quickly and professionally. Thanks, Josh B.

Josh was great. He started by checking to see if he could fix my current opener and then explained my options. Once I decided to get a new opener he had it installed and ready for use in about an hour. Finally he took the time to walk me through the features and app which was great. We chose Precision because they had done work for us in a previous house and because they are local. A technician came the same morning I called. Josh was very helpful, showing us where the problem was with our garage door opener and recommending a new one. He gave us options and did not pressure us. He installed the new garage door opener right away and left our garage cleaner than when he arrived. Our old opener was quiet, but our new one is even quieter. We have had good service both times with Precision.

It was late Friday night when our garage door jumped the tracks, resulting in a skewed door and some ruined hardware. I called Precision hoping to get a recording that would tell me if they're even open on Saturday, but instead I got a real person (a very courteous one at that) who not only told me they're open on Saturday, but who also set up an appointment for that day! After the service tech, Josh, arrived and assessed the situation, he carefully explained to me what had likely caused the problem and what needed to be done. He then presented me with equipment options and told me the differences in quality and cost. Then, after I had made my choices, he put in all together into a detailed quote. To be honest, I was a bit surprised at how much it was going to cost, but Josh's professional and personal touch helped me feel confident that I was making a good choice. Also, he had all the necessary parts in his truck, so not too long afterwards he completed the work, and my door was operating smoother and quite than it has in years. In short, I would have no problem calling Precision again if I ever need to have the door serviced again. But I'm hoping that won't be for a long time!

I had previous outstanding service from Precision several years ago and called them again because of that. Once again,, expectations were exceeded.Josh called to let me know he was close and upon arrival analyzed the situation quickly. He provided two options for repair. When asked which he would chose if it was his door, he explained why he would go with option A based on my situation. In order to complete the repair, I needed to get a car out of the garage space but the battery was dead. Josh gave me a jump and watched the car while it ran in the driveway. He quickly corrected the problem with the door and explained how to make sure I got the most time out of the equipment installed. Josh was kind and professional and very helpful with the decision. Can't say enough good things about him

I’m having a huge garage sale tomorrow and I came home today and my garage door would not open. One of my springs broke. My neighbor gave me Precisions number, and I called at 11am and Josh was at my door 35 minutes later. Josh was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and gave my golden retrievers all the pets. He checked out our whole garage door and he informed my husband and I about some issues with our door that we were unaware of(it’s original with the house and some of the parts that had been replaced were not correct and causing issues). This was an unexpected expense and he let us know what we needed to replace and what we could hold off on. He worked quickly and I was able to get to my afternoon appointment in plenty of time. Outside of the fact that unexpected expenses are never fun, the whole experience with Josh and Precision Garage Doors was great. I highly recommend them, and we will use them again in the future!
