Josh was born and raised in Bagdad, Kentucky and attended school at Eastern Kentucky University where he majored in Landscape Design. Josh relocated to Indianapolis, and began his garage door career over 9 years ago. In his spare time he enjoys racing ATVs cross country, hunting almost anything, and spending time with his family and friends at home and on the farm.

Precision has a very compelling commercial and I especially liked their assurance of how they are handling business during Covid-19. Top notch service. Very efficient scheduling process and they were able to come out same day. My technician was Josh who was very professional and knowledgeable and explained everything to me clearly before offering several options to solve my garage door issues. He was able to make door hardware repairs and install a new garage door opener in a very short amount of time with excellent clean up. He made sure I understood how the new opener functioned and stressed if I had any further questions the answer was a phone call away. Don't put off having your garage door tended to - you can feel safe and confident calling this company.

I was pleased when I called your company my call was answered immediately by a very congenial young lady. I didn't have to wade through press 1 or 2 for this or that. She immediately worked with me setting up an appointment for service. When you Tech Josh arrived he immediately diagnosed the problem and gave us alternatives on how to rectify the situation. Took much needed time to explain to myself and wife what had gone wrong. Gave us several choices on various units and with costs that suited our budget. My appointment window was from 10 am to noon. The technician was over an hour late. I do understand things happen but a heads up on that would have been good. Josh did call me once he was headed to me. When Josh got to my house I explained the trouble I was having and he quickly figured out the problems with my garage door and how much it would cost to fix it. With my go ahead he got to work on the repair and in what I thought was a really short amount of time he got the repairs done. I would definitely recommend Precision door service.

My door was just as noisy when your tech left as was before he arrived. After having another overhead door tech look at our door it was determined that the chain rail had an upward bow in to. After straightening the chain rail the door was quiet again. You need to better train your techs on actual repairs instead of selling a bunch of unneeded parts.

Gary, I'm very sorry we missed the root cause of the issue. I was not there so I cannot speak to the cause. I have not come across a Operator with an upward bent rail so I can see where the tech may have missed and instead assumed it was just the age of the operator and the fact it was a chain which are typically louder.
