An appointment was sooner than expected. Serviceman, Ryan, was very knowledgeable about garage door operation and he was very pleasant. He explained what needed to be done. Our 35 year old door needed a major overhaul. We replaced rollers, springs, springs, steel tube, cables and pulleys. The result was a very quiet door. The price seemed very fair. We did two garage doors.

Precision apparently doesn't service my unit, and just recommends replacing it when there are issues. They found the manual online and tried and adjustment, which didn't work. tNext time just ask what the garage unit is to save everyone the trouble.

My Model opener is 2028. The opto wheel was bad. The Teck replace the wheel and the unit is know working as it should!! For anyone who has this model opener to me this looks like it may be a on going problem? The new park looks like the old part when it comes to thickness of the part? The old part was cracked. The tech, Ryan, arrived 1- 1 1/2 hrs after I called for service, within 10 -20 min of the earliest estimated window and finished the job within his estimated window. He showed me the part of the old garage door opener which had failed and could not be fixed because of its age. He showed and explained to me the various replacement options without pressure for a particular one, answering my question along the way. He also identified and fixed developing problems with the garage door. He was courteous, professional and friendly. I highly recommend Precision Door and Ryan (hopefully all the techs are as good as he is)!
