I called this morning to have someone come repair my garage door/opener. Brandon was able to come early and he fixed my opener and then looked over the spring, bearings and rollers. Since all of this was original to the home, he suggested replacing all of it. What a difference and after seven years of struggling with a squeaky door, it’s heaven to hear a well running door. Ha! Brandon exceeding my expectations and I would recommend this company and Brandon to all of my family and friends. What a relief.

Eli did a great job of explaining options to me to choose the best route to replace my garage door opener. He completed the job in more than a reasonable amount of time (all by himself!). He happily did the extra work to replace the rubber seal on the door as well. He was very professional in his appearance and attitude. No one is happy when it comes time to have to pay for a repair, but this was long overdue and I appreciated how easy the process was!

My technician Austin arrived at the time he said he would. He was able to diagnose the problem and repair it. Austin was very professional and answered all my questions. He also showed me some preventative steps that I can take to help my opener last longer. I also appreciate that I never felt pressured to upgrade any parts, but was given suggestions to help the longevity of the garage door opener. I will definitely use Precision in the future.

Recently purchased my home and noticed the garage door opener struggling (creaking, moaning, and motor pitch whining while opening the door). This triggered the service call. Have a 20 year old garage door and hardware with a newer looking opener (it really should not be struggling the way it was). Cannot remember my technicians name (apologies for that) but, he did a FANTASTIC job!!!!!!! At every stage, he took the time to explain things and go over all of the issues one by one. We first went through the door operation and the technician was able to immediately identify and diagnose the problems. He could tell the opener was not operating well and took note of the noises as well as the slam at the close and hard stop at the top when it was fully open. My Technician worked through several service options and we came to an agreed price to replace the main door springs, and main rod bearings (left, right, and center - which by the way, all the parts came with a 5 year warranty). Turns out, what should have been a center bearing, covered up by the old springs, was nothing more than a plastic bushing... this undoubtedly contributed to all the issues we were observing (and was causing more wear on either end of the rod and the bearings). The tech also (as part of the door service) replaced the sensors (which were found left over - and never installed from the newer opener installation), tightened the drive belt (that was installed incorrectly in the first place... he fixed this issue as well!!), and finally adjusted the open/close limits for the door itself to avoid the slamming we observed at the close and the hard stop at the top during the open. Once everything was completed, the technician went over all the repairs and demonstrated the open/close of the garage door. We were both able to tell the door opened and closed much more smoothly and the motor was noticeably MUCH more quiet... it was like having a new opener installed!!! Only then, was payment requested and I was happy to oblige!! Thank you Precision Garage Door, if you can look up my service technician and give him a bonus and a raise, he certainly deserves it after all the effort he put in on this door to make it right!! Please keep up the good work!!

Fantastic job done by Precision! Mike was our installer, and he did a great job. He stayed late on a Friday evening to be sure all was done well.
