Very satisfied. We did not know what was needed - new motor, new door, simple repair. Our technician, Jeremy, was very helpful in making that decision. He told us our options, then even gave his opinion. He was professional and feel his opinion helped us make the right choice....all in unfavorable weather, 6* wind chill. We will no doubt recommend Precision to others and use them in the future. We replaced rollers, springs, drums, and cables.

Great service! Josh came to inspect the garage door and within a few minutes was able to determine what was wrong. He provided me with options for the issue at hand. No hassles and no pressure. I agreed with the option for direct repair and in a matter of minutes was able to service and repair the door. Very quick service and a now a very satisfied customer.

I originally purchased the Angie's List deal because my garage door was bouncing back up when trying to close it. Upon investigation, my door needed rollers and cables as well. Because the door was old and had not had maintenance, we decided to replace all the hardware which also included drums and springs and bearings. The work was done in a timely manner. The technician was very knowledgeable, explained everything that was going to happen and answered all my questions. I would use this company again.

Precision came to replace the back-up garage door battery which had gone bad. While here, they did a great job of fixing it and oiling everything, making it run smoother. They also showed me how to use the keypad so I can come and go without having to take the garage door opener with me on my walks. Top-notch job!

We originally contacted Precision through Angie's List to have a broken spring repaired. First, I'll say that Jeremy was extremely professional, polite, and efficient. He inspected the door and showed us that the cables & bearings (original to the home) and rollers (had been replaced with plastic by the previous owner) were breaking down. We went ahead and purchased the package with the more expensive springs (they will apparently last longer), cables, bearings, and rollers (no longer plastic). Not having been able to compare prices with another repair company, I can't say whether or not this was the best deal, but the door operates much more smoothly and quietly, we gained a lifetime warranty, and if we purchase a new door through Precision, we can use these parts versus purchasing new parts. They've locked in our business for a new door, but that's smart business on their part.

You did not meet my expectations. Your service person try to sell my repair at a 520.00 cost and your competitor charged me 120.00. The first words before even looking at my problem, he asked have I thought about a new garage door. I eventually will need a new garage door, but I do not appreciate the b.s repair quote. I will not recommend your company to anyone!!! V

Hi Vivian, I am very sorry you were so displeased with our service. Our goal at Precision is to fix your door in a way that will last, as well as offer with the best long term value. Your wooden was rotting through at the bottom. This is caused by long term lack of maintenance/painting. Rotten wood is not repairable. Your door needs to be replaced as soon as possible. The damage to your door goes way beyond cosmetic appearance, rotten wood is no longer structurally secure and can make your door unsafe. The competitor charged $120 to get the door working knowing you'd be replacing the door soon regardless and that money would be lost and wasted. Is that the kind of service you really want? I stand by the recommendation of my technician, and if you would like to proceed with the new door I will be happy to work with you on the price as well as count the money you paid for the original service toward the cost of the door.
