Hello! We called Overhead Door Precision Garage Door Service after hours one evening. Our garage door opener was not working properly; it was smoking, gurgling and the door would not go all the way up or down! We were able to make an appointment for the next morning, 8am-10am window. We received a text with our technician's name and a little about him that morning. Teddy showed up and listened to what was going on. He took a look at our opener in total (motor, springs, sensors, track, etc.) He took apart the motor to see what was going on with it. Teddy presented us with the issues (springs and opener) and then with some options. We discussed an insulated door as well, and he was able to give us pricing for that too. Teddy gave us time to discuss what we wanted to do. Once we made a decision, Teddy got right to work and did a fantastic job. Once everything was installed, he explained the opener, how it worked, the new features it had (Wi-Fi, battery back-up, etc.) and let us know about the warranty, what maintenance would help extend the life of the opener, and he finished up by lubricating the opener and door and cleaning up. Teddy took me through the invoice and the required signatures, and explained the pricing, what was taxed, etc. He let me know that I would receive an email copy of the invoice, along with the quotes for the insulated doors, in case we wanted to pursue that at a later time. We have had Precision Door out several times over the life of our opener and they have always done a wonderful job! This experience solidifies our five-start rating! Thank you Teddy!

The tech arrived a few minutes before they said he would (on a Sunday, no less) and was very professional throughout. My wife had some company she was visiting with so I hung out in the garage with the tech while he replaced the springs, rollers, and brackets. He answered all my questions and was a really nice guy. He clearly knew what he as doing. I would tell you the price was consistent with their competitors but I don’t know that. My prior experience with Precision when they installed the motor is all I needed to go back to them. And I won’t check their competitors next time either.

We received excellent and prompt service from Teddy. He kept us apprised of his arrival time and showed up just as promised. He took his time to explain a balanced list of pros and cons for both the repair or the purchase options. We chose to replace both our 10 y/o openers and purchased new ones. Again he clearly explained the different models which really helped us select the best ones for our needs. Teddy was neat and clean and courteous and knowledgeable. Not only did he install both openers but he also programmed the keypad AND each of our cars AND helped me install and use the App! All in less than 2.5 hours just as he had estimated. Garage door stuck halfway, wouldn’t open or close. We called Precision in late morning; by 3:00 Teddy arrived to fix it. He was knowledgeable and efficient. Finished the job in one hour and cleaned up completely. Teddy was courteous and professional. Highly recommend.

Precision sent a tech out to fix our door at 10 o’clock Saturday night. We called at 8 o’clock Saturday night! Austin had our garage door fixed before midnight and by then it was subzero outside! this morning, Monday, I opened the garage door, and it didn’t seem like it was working smoothly. I called again, and Teddy was here and gone before I knew it. both technicians took the time to make sure I understood what was wrong and what they were fixing. We are satisfied 110%. I'm giving them five stars because that's all the stars there are to give!
