My technician Austin arrived at the time he said he would. He was able to diagnose the problem and repair it. Austin was very professional and answered all my questions. He also showed me some preventative steps that I can take to help my opener last longer. I also appreciate that I never felt pressured to upgrade any parts, but was given suggestions to help the longevity of the garage door opener. I will definitely use Precision in the future.

Recently purchased my home and noticed the garage door opener struggling (creaking, moaning, and motor pitch whining while opening the door). This triggered the service call. Have a 20 year old garage door and hardware with a newer looking opener (it really should not be struggling the way it was). Cannot remember my technicians name (apologies for that) but, he did a FANTASTIC job!!!!!!! At every stage, he took the time to explain things and go over all of the issues one by one. We first went through the door operation and the technician was able to immediately identify and diagnose the problems. He could tell the opener was not operating well and took note of the noises as well as the slam at the close and hard stop at the top when it was fully open. My Technician worked through several service options and we came to an agreed price to replace the main door springs, and main rod bearings (left, right, and center - which by the way, all the parts came with a 5 year warranty). Turns out, what should have been a center bearing, covered up by the old springs, was nothing more than a plastic bushing... this undoubtedly contributed to all the issues we were observing (and was causing more wear on either end of the rod and the bearings). The tech also (as part of the door service) replaced the sensors (which were found left over - and never installed from the newer opener installation), tightened the drive belt (that was installed incorrectly in the first place... he fixed this issue as well!!), and finally adjusted the open/close limits for the door itself to avoid the slamming we observed at the close and the hard stop at the top during the open. Once everything was completed, the technician went over all the repairs and demonstrated the open/close of the garage door. We were both able to tell the door opened and closed much more smoothly and the motor was noticeably MUCH more quiet... it was like having a new opener installed!!! Only then, was payment requested and I was happy to oblige!! Thank you Precision Garage Door, if you can look up my service technician and give him a bonus and a raise, he certainly deserves it after all the effort he put in on this door to make it right!! Please keep up the good work!!

Andrew replaced the broken spring and inspected the garage door mechanics, he offered some other repairs that might be needed in the future. Where do is begin? Ben was absolutely phenomenal! He answered all my questions and concerns. He was able to find the issue immediately and took the time to explain what happened. Technician Mike was friendly and hard working. Replacing a very old wooden door on an old garage was challenging, and he had to retrofit some things to get the job done right. He did great work, and went above and beyond. When he was done he told me that his company could return at no charge and replace an entire panel because it had a barely noticeable "ding" on the inside. I said "no" but was very impressed with that offer!

Josh Brewer was the technician who came to provide me with an additional garage door opener as well as to do routine service on my garage door. He found some concerning maintenance issues and thoroughly explained them to me as well as to two gentlemen who serve with me on the Board of Directors here at Lions Head Condominiums. It was determined that wee would opt for a repair that would provide us with a long-term solution. Josh was articulate, knowledgeable,and finished the work quickly. Our garage door would not open and we couldn’t figure out why. Precision Garage Door was able to send someone out the next day. There tech Josh came out, assessed the issue, and replaced all broken and worn parts all before lunch!
