Our garage door opener stopped working via our remotes and the keypad. After trying to reprogram each device failed, I anticipated that our opener was on its last legs, especially considering the opener was about fifteen years old. I contacted Precision based on the many positive reviews both on the company website and on Google. I scheduled an appointment online (after business hours) and was contacted the following morning to confirm the appointment. Brandon R. was the technician who arrived, and our house must have been his first stop as he arrived around 8:15 AM which was right at the beginning of the scheduled appointment window. It was nice that Precision was able to send a technician out early on in the window as too often companies give four hours, and technicians don't arrive until the final fifteen minutes. This was the first clue as to the service we would be given. After talking with Brandon for a few minutes about the issues we were experiencing, he came to the conclusion that the logic board was most likely the culprit (which I was glad to hear, as that was my belief as well). Brandon provided me many different options for repairing or replacing the opener. He also pointed out some of the issues that likely led to the previous opener's eventual demise. Without pushing any kind of repair or trying to sell me on any specific product, he presented me with information to allow me to decide how to move forward, which I greatly appreciated. Too often technicians try to push some product that might not be necessary, and I did not feel that from Brandon. This was another clue as to why Precision has received such great reviews in the past. Besides the clear issues with the opener, Brandon presented issues regarding the springs and issues with the rollers. When inspecting the bearings, Brandon indicated that there may be issues, but it wasn't necessarily obvious that they needed to be replaced. Based on the quote Brandon provided me, I gave him the go ahead to replace the opener, the springs, and the rollers, as well as providing a second remote and an outdoor keypad. While completing the install, Brandon determined that the bearings in fact needed to be replaced, but he contacted his supervisor and was able to include them in the price he already quoted. This was yet another indication that Precision was the way to go with our repair. Throughout the entire process, Brandon was exceptionally professional and friendly. He wanted to make sure we had a garage door that worked exactly how we needed it. My wife and I recently had twins, and Brandon stated that the garage door should be the last of our concerns with newborns, especially since one of our babies is still at Riley. His professionalism and friendly demeanor were more than I could have hoped for from Precision, and I would highly recommend Precision for any garage door repairs in the future. I know if we encounter any issues, we will definitely contact Precision. It's because of Brandon that Precision has a new customer for life! Well done!

My Garage door opener quick working and I called Precision who has same day service. I was given a 3 hour window for the afternoon and the technician Kevin U was on time. He wore a mask the entire time and gave my entire door system a full inspection. I’m glad he did because he found several things that were not safe and on the brink of further damage that could have resulted in someone really getting hurt or even worse. After pointing each failure point out to me he wrote up a few different quotes on the repairs that were needed. His truck was stocked and addressed all of them. Not only does my door work again but i feel safer knowing that it’s not going to collapse.
