Just had a new garage door installed by Precision. Tim was our installer and he was here on time and did a wonderful job. He cleaned up the work site and explained the door and its functions and safety features. Tim installed a new opener as well and i love the ease and quietness of operation.

Drew, our technician, arrived early and quickly assessed the door’s issues; Door misaligned due to cable coming off track, weak spring, aging rollers, etc. He provided different levels of repairs and estimated costs. The repairs were made within his estimated time frame and the door and opener are now working. Drew is very knowledgeable and was at ease explaining the operation and problems associated with the door. In short, Drew was informed, friendly and professional.

Mike was just great! I liked that he did an inspection of everything. He took care of my repair, and was so nice to work with. Precision will remain my garage door service company for sure! I’m very pleased. (Your list, below, does not let me state what the repair was. It was for the replacement of the metal strip and rubber seal to the bottom of my 16 ft garage door.)

My appointment window was from 10 am to noon. The technician was over an hour late. I do understand things happen but a heads up on that would have been good. Josh did call me once he was headed to me. When Josh got to my house I explained the trouble I was having and he quickly figured out the problems with my garage door and how much it would cost to fix it. With my go ahead he got to work on the repair and in what I thought was a really short amount of time he got the repairs done. I would definitely recommend Precision door service.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs garage door work done. The installer that was at my house was very polite, professional and communicated real well about everything he was doing. He explained things when it was necessary to be explained and got the job done in a timely manner. I was very pleased with the installer that was sent to my house to do the work that was needed. They didn't force anything on me that I didn't want but did offer suggestions and reasoning behind why that specific thing needed to be done. Will gladly use them again if I need anymore work done in the future.

We had a great experience with Precision. I called yesterday for an appointment and got an appointment today. He was here on time and did our repair in a timely manner. He also added a seal on both of our overhead doors. Great service, truly.

My door was just as noisy when your tech left as was before he arrived. After having another overhead door tech look at our door it was determined that the chain rail had an upward bow in to. After straightening the chain rail the door was quiet again. You need to better train your techs on actual repairs instead of selling a bunch of unneeded parts.

Gary, I'm very sorry we missed the root cause of the issue. I was not there so I cannot speak to the cause. I have not come across a Operator with an upward bent rail so I can see where the tech may have missed and instead assumed it was just the age of the operator and the fact it was a chain which are typically louder.
