I called Precision because their website promotes same day service but I never expected the technician to be at my house within 45 minutes on a Saturday! James was amazing: smart, honest and friendly. Pricing was transparent and he didn’t try to sell me more than I needed. I would recommend Precision, and James specifically, to anyone in Indianapolis.

The quality is good, workmanship is good (only time can tell). But it was outrageously expensive. I searched "garage door repair near me" - instead I should have just called Sears. My house is 20 years old. The Sears Craftman garage door worked for 20 years, and a similar one (at less than 1/3 the price of Precision) would work fine for another 20 years. My LEDs were misaligned - a simple issue. But then the spring at the top wore out and broke. I searched the Internet - a pair of those springs cost $59. Ryan charged me $496. Similarly a Craftman controller is around $275. I was charged way more than that. With the enormous cost, I asked Ryan if you would allow deferred payment - which means the customer makes monthly payments for a year or something. He said Yes, you could split it into 2 payments. At the end of the job he said the 2 payments were due yesterday and today - in other words there was no deferred payment. Customers should do a price shopping before engaging this company.

I called because my parents had their door serviced by your company. This was years ago and I could only hope your company was still valuable. I was told when I called, upfront that there would be a upfront service call fee. I was also told I could use my credit card. I had no idea the final cost. I only had $200.00 available on my credit card. I explained this when the tech arrived. He said he would assess my door and let me decide. The estimate was well over $200.00. I told him I could not pay that much. I would have hang a curtain over it and pretend to have a garage door. I explained that I am I single grandma raising 2 grandkids. My budget was stressed to the limit. The tech got on his phone and made it work for me. I can not afford to replace my door or opener. When I can I will call you back and buy from your business. I have already told friends and family about my experience with you and recommended you. Thank your for your help and kindness.

Wow! What an amazing experience from start to finish. The operator that took my call was courteous & professional, and was able to provide an appointment the very next morning. The technicians that showed up were exceptional. They understood my concern and quickly diagnosed the problem, giving me options for a resolution. No pressure, no up-selling, just the info that I needed to make a choice. When small issues came up that were not covered by the original quote, they fixed them anyway without an additional fee. I would highly recommend Precision to anyone needing garage door installation and/or repairs!

I did several website searches for garage door work. After reading most of the reviews I decided to go with Precision not only because of location but of the many 5 star reviews. After leaving a request on line for service late Saturday, I received a call back from Precision's Scheduler the next Monday and discussed some preliminary pricing and set up an appointment for service. Service was quickly scheduled for the next day! I was called that next morning from Kevin U. of Precision letting me know they could be at my home within 10-15 minutes and if that was okay with me. Kevin U. and a "In Training" person showed up right on time. Kevin and I discussed my garage door, the current issues I knew about and then let Kevin U. review the existing door himself to work up a quote. After about 30 minutes, Kevin U. had a quote with several options and upgrades as we discussed. I selected the service on the door which included new rollers, main center bearing, new bearing on both left and right pulleys, new dual springs long with a full door service. I also decided to go with a new Lift Master belt drive garage door opener that came with a lifetime warranty on the motor and belt as well as WiFi as I wanted the ability for my wife and I to close the garage door remotely from our cellular phones with a simple App! A big plus was that Precision's parts and service are fully warranted for a full year! They also applied one of the company decals to the door with all their contact information with my approval. It took a few hours to complete the installation of all the service and new garage door opener. Kevin U. went over all the work performed and trained me on all the operation of the new garage door opener. This included the new wall device and the programming of both vehicles with remote door openers built-in to our vehicles, the two remotes that come standard with the Lift Master garage door opener and the new MyQ App for remote closing, opening and status. We did not fully upgrade to the 360 degree digital camera built-in to the Lift Master unit as we already have digital security cameras. In summary, Kevin U. and Precision Overhead Garage Door Service far exceeded my expectations in punctuality, length of service, quality and knowledge of their equipment, training and just being some of the friendliest people to do business with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service to anyone! It was one of the best decisions I've made in taking care of our home. To my delight, the Lift Master unit with belt drive, new rollers,new bearings and service has made my garage door the quietest door in the neighborhood when it opens and closes! My wife and I couldn't be happier that we chose Precision Overhead Garage Door Service! Thank you for a job well done!

I needed a repair of my garage door as the eyes were malfunctioning and not letting the door close. My search took me on line to Precision where I found an excellent rating by the Better Business Bureau in addition to Home Advisor and Angie's List. I also liked that they could come to my Lebanon address and do it so quickly. Two technicians were dispatched the day after I called. They were very professional in their appearance, following the Covid-19 guidelines. After assessing the problem they presented me with a quote and an explanation of the work that needed to be done. The work was completed and in no time the door was working. They explained the functions of the door to my satisfaction. The most surprising thing was, when the job was completed, they cleaned the floor of my garage with their blower finding two nails that may have saved me from a flat tire in the future.

Numerous repairs were done. Brandon ascertained what repairs needed to be done and discussed them with my wife and I. He seemed to understand the dilemma that we were facing as seniors and on a fixed income. He checked with his boss and we were offered a way to have most of the repairs done without having to purchase a new door at that time. We were very pleased with Brandon and the work that he did.
