We had a fantastic experience with Precision Overhead Garage Door Service! Our technician, Zeke, was prompt, professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. Our garage door, which was originally installed in 2013, had some normal wear and tear, plus a broken spring. Zeke took the time to thoroughly explain the issues, showing me the signs of wear on the door and its parts. He also provided clear, honest options for repair, including a "Band-Aid" solution, a middle-of-the-road fix, and a full rebuild with a breakdown is cost. We went with the middle of-the-road fix with premium parts, and Zeke had our door fully rebuilt in just one hour! 1 year parts warranty was explained. He was on time, and even called 30 minutes before arrival to give us his ETA.

Other than a broken spring back in 2013, our garage door opener was not a problem for 20 years until a couple days ago. At that time there appeared to be a sensor problem. Cole P arrived very early in the appointment window. He was friendly and personable and spent about 20min assessing our whole system. He showed me the control board showing significant wear and we decided to replace the opener, sensors and springs after fully reviewing our options. Work was done efficiently and we now have peace of mind as we enter the winter.

Wow! When the spring on our garage door broke I called Precision and they were here within an hour. They had originally installed the doors 8 years ago and did great work. Vlad did a great job diagnosing the issue, providing a quote and getting the repairs made quickly (and in freezing cold weather!). We truly appreciate the super fast service. This review is given by an industrial journeyman electrician of over 40 years and a DYI'er most of my life. I don't give 5 stars to contractors of any sort. They are a business and the first order of business is the bottom line. Customer interest is second. After numerous attempts on my part to get the opener to program, I gave up and found Precision on google maps close by me. They're 5 star ratings convinced me to call. Long story short: I'm happy with the outcome tho it came at sticker shock cost. Suggestion: explain to the customer what was done to solve/fix the problem.

I had a problem with my garage door late on Thursday evening (Nov 21). I called first thing Friday morning and was given an appointment for the same day. Matt came to my home and diagnosed the problem. He did not push me to buy a new opener. He explained the problem and we discussed the problem in the context of my opener being 24 years old. I did purchase a new opener. He had it on the truck and spent 2.5 hours installing it, new sensors, and a new wall mount control. He programmed the remote and tried to program my car’s integrated garage door opening feature but unfortunately the opener and vehicle remote did not synchronize. He was professional and very personable. I will use Precision again for sure. Prices were reasonable.

I called for a tune up appt and they were able to give me an appt same day! Orlando arrived promptly, examined the equipment and offered recommendations for needed replacement of original builder quality parts. He gave me three options so I could find the solution that would best suit my needs and budget. Once the decision was made, he installed the new equipment and adjusted remaining equipment for smooth and quiet operation . So happy with the results and with Orlando!

Arrived home from work at 3:30 pm and garage door would not open. Discovered the spring had broken again. Original spring lasted 14 years, replacement spring lasted 9 years. Called Precision and they had an appointment set between 4:00-6:00 pm same day. My technician Mike F arrived within an hour of calling. He pointed out that a torsion cable had also broken and a few other issues with the door being 23 years old. Chose to have Mike make all the recommended repairs. Spring, cables, rollers, brackets, and bearing plates. Mike had the work completed in roughly 90 minutes and the door operates as it did when it was brand new. Extremely fast and outstanding service overall.

When a cable snapped on the garage door of my new home, I called the company that originally installed and serviced it. After a frustrating conversation with their residential service department I decided to cancel the service call. It was all of the 5 star ratings that encouraged me to call Precision, and I'm so glad I did. Apparently my double car garage door only had one spring (instead of 2...why??), which had snapped. It appeared to be the 4th replacement spring based on how beat up the winding bar was. Because of this and the age of the system, basically all of the moving parts aside from the door itself needed to be replaced. While I wasn't planning on this major expense, I felt completely confident that it was both necessary and long overdue. The technician, Josh B, was on time, respectful, answered all of my questions, and gave me lots of options to accommodate my budget. I decided to also upgrade to a new and quieter belt drive system, which I feel confident this was a better choice than the big box store options. I highly recommend Precision and am impressed they were able to solve this issue for me quickly and professionally. Thanks, Josh B.
