Several parts of my garage door unit were over 11 years old and needed to be replaced. Most important was the spring coil. Andrew did a wonderful job explaining why my garage door would open but not stay closed. He gave me a detailed quote of options available for repair today. He showed up on time and was able to make the repairs in one hour because all the parts were stocked in the Precision van. I was not expecting the cost to be so much, BUT if you calculate the expense for the 7 year warranty offered by Precision Garage Door, its a pretty good deal. I would recommend this company for any repairs. They have really good service and price on installing new garage door openers too.

We scheduled the $69 inspection coupon to have our garage doors serviced and lubricated. Joel arrived promptly and walked my wife through the process of what he would be doing. After his initial inspection, he went over his findings by prioritizing things that were an immediate issue, potential issues or future issue. Once we decided on the repairs we wanted done, he was able to complete the repairs on the one door and maintenance on the other in an hour. Joel was pleasant and kind and was not a pushy salesman. He worked with my wife to make sure she understood what she was asking for and went over the pricing sheet to make her feel comfortable with the decision she was making. I am pleased with the work and how quiet our doors are now.

Elliot met with me and showed me some of the issues with my existing springs as well as the cables which were frayed in several places. The door was making noises which necessitated my call initially so I decided to get the replacement springs and related parts. I called at 6:30 a.m. because my garage door broke and I could not open it. Precision Garage Door had a technician out by 9 a.m. and had my door fixed by 11:30 or so. Drew, the technician we were assigned was very polite and respectful. He explained everything he was doing along the way and kept me updated during the entire process. He showed me the completed work when he was done, showed me some maintenance tips and made sure all of my questions were answered before he left. He was genuinely great to work with and I am very happy with the entire experience. I'd definitely recommend them..

I chose Precision because they were recommended by a family member. All communications were polite and informative. The technician was excellent. The appointment was to repair my garage door, though I was also considering replacing them. He presented me with cost options for both and absolutely did not try to over sell. I ended up having him repair the door that was broken and replace the worn parts on the second door. I would definitely call them again and feel comfortable recommending them to friends and family.

Our tech was knowledgeable, extremely friendly, open and honest. Not for a second did we feel that we were getting anything but truth backed by training, experience and integrity. This is not our first time using Precision and they have given us no reason at all to even think about using someone else. Every box was checked from punctuality, to communication, to the use of effective technology to streamline the process, to value and so on. Getting service right is hard. It requires attention to detail, commitment, culture and the willingness to invest in training and systems as well as being able to know how and where you can improve. I'd say Precision works on ensuring all of these things are in place.

So far 5 star! Elliot came out to replace a spring but a full inspection was also included in the visit so we took advantage of it. I knew ahead of time our door/components were old and were close to failure - Elliot confirmed this and more. He was kind and thoughtful with his recommendations and understood the financial challenges so we worked through a full repair vs. replacement. In the end we opt'd for full replacement and I am very satisfied with the decision. If the consult and temp spring install mirror the actual full replacement then we will be set. Thanks Elliot and Precision [ahead of time ;) ]
