I called Precision since my garage door made an annoying noise when I closed it. It didn't affect the performance of the door, but I was worried nevertheless. (I had called a competitor who told me I needed to replace the opener and the springs, to which we said, "No way.") When Nick and apprentice Stuart arrived, I told them I thought the noise was coming from the plastic piece that connects the arm to the door track. Upon inspection, they agreed. However, the noise was only slightly reduced after replacing the piece. Fortunately, Nick was not deterred, and he kept considering other causes. Finally, he discovered that the screws holding the track to the wall were not tight. Once he tightened them, the problem was completely solved. (I think the plastic piece needed to be replaced, so I'm OK with that small expenditure.) I'm very pleased that Nick spent the required time (more than 2 hours) to solve the problem. I'm also very glad that the noise is gone!

Service was fast friendly and professional!!! I had another company service tech out and they quoted me $1400. When I originally called the other company, service/quote fee was $19 and the tech wanted $125. I called the company back and confirmed that it was $19. They totally tried to scam me. Heck the service tech also wanted to use my wifi because he had no service. He then pretended to call someone yet he had to service to take my payment and said dont worry about it and just left. Long story short... go with a professional company like Precision Garage Door! The tech Cody was awesome. 5stars

We got a quote from the "BIG" company that installed our garage door openers, and Precision's was much less. We were able to get service scheduled on our door spring and related part very quickly, and the technician (Eric G) arrived promptly when we were told he would. He was wonderful in explaining what was going on with our door, and our options. We felt educated, not pressured. In a day and age when contractors are rude, late and routinely disappoint, we felt very fortunate that we decided to call Precision Garage Door Service of Indianapolis. From here out, they will be our first and ONLY call when we need garage door service.

We had had another company come for a quote for a repair and felt that their “Free Estimate” was anything but free unless you were willing to sign up for services asap. After asking around with many different acquaintances we kept hearing that we should call Precision Garage Door or Indiana. My service technician "Orlando " arrived to repair a broken garage door spring. He hesitated on giving me a service quote until he had a chance to look over the entire garage door. He asked questions about the maintenance of the door to date, looked at the door and then pointed out other not so obvious issues with the door. Nick and trainee Brandon were dispatched to my home at my request for a garage door tune-up (I was excited I had a coupon for $69). Unfortunately, there were other issues that needed to be addressed. They were more than kind, honest as well as empathetic, but not at all 'pushy.' They worked to obtain the best possible pricing, and when I agreed to move ahead with the improvements, they physically worked very efficiently to remedy the potentially damaging issues that existed (wrong springs, rusted bottom brackets, worn cables, & original rollers - which were all stressing out my opener). I also asked that they install new bottom rubber on the door. They did it all and were extremely neat; no mess at all. Even though it certainly cost more than I was intending to spend, it was a pleasant and comforting experience! Nick and Brandon were great!
