Upon returning from vacation, we discovered that our garage door would not open. It was approximately 7:00 PM, and through a referral, we contacted Precision Garage Door, which was open until 7:30 PM. To my surprise, the customer service representative was exceptionally friendly and scheduled an appointment for us first thing the next morning. We received a text informing us that our technician, Kevin, was en route and he subsequently called to confirm. Kevin was extremely polite and knowledgeable, and he did not apply any pressure during our conversation. He presented us with various repair options, categorized as low-end, mid-range, and high-end. He identified that the cables had snapped and the springs had broken. At no point did we feel coerced into selecting one package over another. In fact, he mentioned a less expensive $700 repair option, cautioning that it would require a follow-up visit due to the motor functioning inefficiently and the board beginning to overheat. After considerable discussion, we opted for the complete package, which included everything along with a new opener featuring a camera and remote functionality. Initially, we had anticipated a cost of just a few hundred dollars, but we ultimately spent $3,687.73 and could not be more satisfied with our decision. Not only did Kevin complete the work in less time than estimated, but he also cleaned my garage floor more thoroughly than it was upon his arrival. He took the time to explain everything and assisted me in setting up the related applications, guiding me through the entire process. I would highly recommend Precision Garage Door and specifically suggest Kevin as your technician. His performance far exceeded our expectations, and he certainly deserves recognition for his exemplary service. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone in need of repairs or a comprehensive garage door solution. While they may not be the most economical option available, their quality of service and warranty make the extra cost justifiable. The efficiency of their service is commendable. It was your technician Josh B who easily recognized what the problem was and quickly fixed the issue for a fair price. I will now have to have him back to do the same to our other two garage doors, they are heavy wood.

I chose precision based on your website it was very easy to use and very easy to schedule an appointment. Communication was great the springs broke Tuesday evening and Tony arrived at my house by 9:00 am the next morning. Tony was very easy to work with, he did a thorough inspection of my situation and offered a range of options from what minimally needed to be done to get my garage back in working order which I appreciated. Tony also went over what he saw regarding wear and tear with the motor, chain, cables, and rollers and provided different pricing options which I really appreciated. In addition to new springs I decided to go with an upgrade to a new opener, belt drive, and new rollers, as my opener was 23 years old and extremely pleased with the new system it will probably outlive me. Tony was exceptionally regarding knowledge, communication, and expertise, I did not feel pressured on what needed to be done.

The original door opener failed as I suspected after 9 years. Kevin inspected the system, explained everything to me, including options available. There was absolutely no ‘sales pitch’, only valid information needed to make a decision on a new unit. Kevin took time to ask relevant questions and understand the overall situation: how many times a day the door is used, the number of cars, etc. His interest in installing a door opener that fit my lifestyle was impressive. Once I chose a new unit, he expertly installed everything in a reasonable timeframe. Afterwards, Kevin reviewed the features of this unit, operation and safety aspects. He also made sure that the app was downloaded on my phone and that I was confident using it. This was not a rush job/installation. Drew & Marcus arrived on time and listened attentively to my concerns. They did a thorough examination of my door, motor, and all mechanical parts. Drew explained the options for repair and replacement of parts, with appropriate costs, that would make my 17-year-old door operational, efficient and reliable.
