Precision Garage Door Service of Indianapolis

My first appointment was canceled 30 mins into the window of service (September 9) causing me to reorganize the second afternoon to get my garage repaired. For this I would have given a rating of 4 stars or below. However, Tyler did a great job. He was courteous and answered all my questions. Do, after thought, he’s the reason I gave 5 stars and not lower!!

The technicians were very friendly and knowledgeable. They diagnosed the problem with my opener and fixed the problem in a short time. I would recommend Precision garage door service to anyone who has any kind of garage door repairs needed. They truly are the best service in the Indianapolis area by far.

Thank you to Precision Garage Doors and my service technician Josh B. Words cannot describe how impressed I was with the service I received from Josh. He let me know when he was on his way and when he arrived he told me what was going wrong in minutes. Made recommendations on what he thought I should do to fix my issues. He then told me what he would do to make my doors operate smoothly and efficiently on top of replacing my broken parts. The before and after service was a night and day difference. He even showed me the parts that were broken through the process. I wish I would have taken a before and after video because I cannot believe the difference Josh made on my doors. They now move up and down smoothly, quietly, and efficiently. With the bedrooms up above the garage door this is a major upgrade. Thank you Josh for all your hard work and for taking the time to make the doors function the right way.

We’ve had 3 doors installed over the years with typically good service. We’ve consistently referred others. Unfortunately, a service call for minor repairs to one door cost more than all full door replacements combined. Stick with the smaller outfits. Would no longer recommend for any overhead door work.

He thoroughly checked the entire garage door system rather than just addressing the immediate problem. Tony clearly explained what was causing the issue today, as well as potential concerns that could arise in the future. I appreciated that he gave me enough information to make the decision that was best for me, without pressure. He was knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful—and he was able to get my garage door system operational again the same day. I would definitely recommend Tony and Precision Garage Door.

We have used Precision 3 or 4 times and they always solve our problem and note things that may be aging or weak with the garage door opener. A few years ago they replaced the main spring that had broken and with one more use would have allowed the door to drop on the car. This time it was replacing a remote and setting up with a new car, plus replacing the sensors that had weakened and nearly broken off. They are always proactive, courteous, and inspire a lot of confidence in their services.

Your technician, Dakota Tucker, arrived on time, and was a total professional. He is extremely knowledgeable about his craft, and he explained everything to me very clearly. Dakota was very considerate of my age (85 yrs. old), and cleaned up everything before he left. Two years ago I had Precision replace the springs and rollers on my two car garage door. Today I had them replace the spring and rollers on my single garage door. I made the appointment on line which was quick and easy.The technician called when he was on his way and arrived as promised. They are always great to do business with. The tech today named Kalu was professional, friendly and answered all my questions. He definitely represents the company well.

I had a 20 year old garage door motor that still worked but the belt broke on it. I scheduled (for convenience) through the online appts but when the tech Kalu asked how old it was (20 yrs) he told me they don’t have belts that fit that motor and the only option was a new motor. I hadn’t planned for that expense and I would have fixed it myself (Amazon belt). Kalu called the boss twice to earn my business. I felt upsold by no one calling me from the online scheduling service telling they didn’t have old belt parts. We ended up with a more than fair price of a totally new motor, belt and assembly with door pad and remotes. Thank you, I will be referring everyone I know to your business.

Have used Precision previously and they were my first choice when my garage door cable broke. They sent out a tech within hours of my call, actually arrived early. Ben H was my technician and quickly analyzed the problem and came up with several different options to fix the problem. No high pressure sales, just laid out the options. Once he got to work making all the repairs he worked very quickly. Ben was very friendly and also knowledgeable. I highly recommend him!
